From the outset you know that this is a budget hotel, and if you expect to find 5* luxury you will be deeply disappointed. What I found was a clean room with a comfy bed and a perfectly adequate bathroom. I didn't particularly like the paper cup for my morning cuppa but then again it served its purpose. The receptionist...

I'm not usually one to complain, and I work in hospitality myself. However, I was really underwhelmed with this hotel. Judging by the photos and the £90 price tag, I expected to be spending the night somewhere nice. I've paid half this to stay in the likes of Jury's Inn. Our hotel room had large red stains on the carpet,...

Rooms were clean and tidy though a little tired, the staff, especially the bar and restaurant staff, Thomas, Paula and Robert were very nice and couldn't do enough for you. A walk along the nearby canal is a must.

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night, we had come from NZ and we're visiting friends in mk. We found the hotel absolutely disgusting. The whole place stunk of sewers including the room we were in. The cups were cardboard in the room which we've never come across ever in a hotel! It was so run down and...

Had a nice time staying at the campanile hotel weekend just gone! The staff where warm and welcoming. Paula in the restaurant welcomed us with a huge smile and was ever so polite what a lovely woman! The bed in the room was so comfortable, and I am fussy with the mattress I sleep on. The bar was lovely and...

Recently stayed here for a night on a visit to Milton Keynes. It's great value if you just want somewhere to stay while you are out and about all day, or just passing and need to stay over. We did not use the restaurant for dinner or breakfast. The rooms are reasonably adequate and have all the essentials. If you...

We stayed at the Campanile the night before the Milton Keynes 1/2 Marathon. On arrival I was worried as the hotel is located across the road from the Pink Punter Club which apparently stays about til 6.30 am. But, as long as you get a room on the opposite side of the hotel you shouldn't have any trouble. The rooms...

Noticed the big club as we pulled up... noticed that most people we could see in the hotel would be attending the club as we went to our room. Room looked nothing like the pictures and there were some interesting stains on the carpet. Probably cleaner to keep your shoes on. Bathroom looked very outdated. It was so noisy. I...

don't expect too much, room too small, no loo brush, not enough towels, no complimentary toiletries, lots of stairs to climb if on a high floor, no lift. Had to wait 1 hour for breakfast, by then hunger had passed, had to ask for money back. As there was a party of 11 of us it would have been nice...
