What a great deal for a twin room with free castle entry and fab brekky all included for 110 for a twin. Had a great time round the brilliant maze, watched the falconry, round the castle round then on to Go Ape. Such a privilege to have the grounds to ourselves after hours. Reading the other reviews, suggest asking for...

Incredibly pleased with everything! The rooms were very clean, and the breakfast at the Fairfax restaurant was not only overlooking the castle but it was also superb in selection and taste. Additionally the grounds are simply beautiful. The website doesn't do this place justice as it all in all wonderful, and beyond what we expected. We will be back!

We booked a romantic weekend stay and ended up leaving after one night as it was too noisy and there was little privacy in the room. The photos on the website of the Stable Courtyard suggest the space would be only used for guests staying the night (the photo suggests a secluded garden or so we assumed). Rightly or wrongly,...

Stayed at the stable courtyard, staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the room was superb with all creature comforts with an amazing view overlooking the gardens. Great choice for breakfast prepared to a high standard with excellent service. My wife and I cannot wait to visit again.

We stayed in the Windsor room in the stable courtyard for my birthday and Valntines. The room is gorgeous and lots of extras in the room like bottled water, biscuits, fudge, chocolate and bathroom accessories. I even got a birthday card from them. All the staff were excellent and we had a wonderful nights stay.

We stayed in the Stable Courtyard bed and breakfast overnight for my mother-in-law's 80th birthday. We arrived at midday and although we knew we couldn't check in until later we were given our free pass ('free' as in we had paid for B&B accommodation) to the castle and its grounds which we made use of for the next 24hrs. Once...

Lovely, luxury accommodation yet family friendly too. We had the accessibility adjoining rooms which worked out perfectly for my family getaway! Unfortunately they were doing work to the Fairfax restaurant so that was closed and we had to have breakfast at the Maiden's Tower (which was actually a treat!) but the staff coped very well considering they had to keep...

We were booked into the Stable Courtyard for one night and our stay was brilliant from start to finish. The staff were some of the happiest, friendliest & knowledgable that we've met. They genuinely wanted their visitors to have a good time and so we did! The accommodation was clean, comfortable & cozy. The meal in the Castle View Restaurant...
