The check in, rooms and service in the bar were good. The food was very poor. To send something back but for the chef to send it back out with a waiter to say I was wrong!!! Not good just like the food. I would not recommend this lication to anyone.

The hotel is housed in an old house which was latterly used as an education conference centre. It is 15 - 20 mins walk from the town centre and clearly still specialises in the conference trade. The ground floor (up some steps) bedrooms are accessed through the restaurant / function rooms which must be interesting when both are in use....

I stayed at this hotel with a friend as we were having a night out in Maidstone. It is a nice looking building and we were warmly welcomed by the receptionist. We went to our room which was quite small, barely room for the 2 single beds, but it was well furnished and clean. We had got a drink from...

Only stayed here for 1 night but really enjoyed it. the building is gorgeous, the grounds well maintained. all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. the room was an acceptable size, not massive but ample for what we needed, and very clean and smartly decorated. the bathroom was immaculate, as if it had recently been renovated. it was...

We had a great welcome by Hannah who helped show us to our room. It was warm, very clean, comfortable bed, masses of wardrobe space and a long desk/dressing table. Not as large as the Premier Inns but perfect for 1 night. One suggestion, perhaps the tv should be on a wall bracket as there was not much roomleft for...

We stayed at this hotel for one night and had a lovely time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and reasonably equipped. The shower room was large, clean and the free toiletries. We had an evening meal on the Saturday and although there was a wedding and a birthday party on we were served quickly and...

Stayed here for 1 night on business...never again. 1. you struggle to find the hotel it's in the middle of some campus thing...the photos give you an impression it's a country estate...it's definitely not 2. You walk to the room down random corridors, past empty meeting rooms and chairs strewn all over 3. It smells like a nursing home 4....

So have been staying here for a couple of nights, just finished dinner and wanted to leave the staff a tip on the card I am using (business trip). Apparently they don't get the tips if they are paid with a card, very, very poor in this day and age. Otherwise good value, reasonable food good friendly staff. Just don't...

I have stayed at this hotel a few times now and it never disappoints me. The staff are all very friendly, rooms are clean with a comfortable bed. Food in the bar is very good at a good price and the breakfast is included in the price of the room. This hotel is well run and looked after. Will be...

I stayed here for one night for a business trip and will not be staying there again. The bed was unbelievably poor. I could feel the mattress springs digging into me. It was either very old or very cheap. I should have gone to reception and complained but I was so tired I couldn't be bothered (my fault I know)....
