Stayed for three nights whilst visiting family. Very dated but comfortable enough. Room was clean enough and had free wifi although I kept losing connection. Also had an iron, ironing board and hairdryer. Bit of a job to find room as lots of stairs and corridors. Only had breakfast once but was lovely and cooked to order. Staff were friendly...

I visited here with a friend who works in the area. The decor is very dated. Needs to be improved massively. Horrendous bed covers and pillows. When we arrived we were greeted by a moody young girl, who gave us the keys to our rooms. When I arrived at mine there was a very suspicious stain on the duvet cover...

Stayed here for a college reunion. Big meeting room, good service at bar and lovely food at the buffet. Room was very well equipped, well furnished and very comfortable. A quiet night's sleep. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order. Tremendous value for money, I'll stay again next time I'm in Walsall.

We have been to this pub for sunday lunch a couple of times. The place for lunch is very bright and airy. The food is very good. There are three meats and the vegetables are lovely and fresh. We have had a lovely lunch both times. We booked a table as it is a very popular place. The bar is...

Only called in for drinks. Nice bar with friendly staff. Good friendly atmosphere and efficient service. Good choice of beers and teas and coffees too. If we revisit Walsall, would definately call back in here

We loved the bar and felt at home. The music was great and we felt relaxed throughout. We found the lovely food tasty and our prompt seating meant that we weren't waiting around. Don't stand on ceremony though as it's quite an informal venue where you might need to ask rather than wait to be asked. Ales and decor is...

If you have to go to Walsall, I sympathise and suggest that you make the best of it by staying at the Lyndon House. We had a one nighter here and loved it as a proper pub, with a great selection of real ale and fantastic home made curries. The décor of the hotel is redolent of the 1960/70s -...

We stayed in the Annex. The rooms had brick walls and gabled ceiling -- yes, the décor made me think of a turn of the century brothel (duvet cover was red velveteen with fleur de les pattern and it had an open canopy) but it's what I'd expect from a historic pub hotel. Not much room or light but more...

We stayed at Lyndon house at the weekend to attained a party there. When we arrived we received a less than warm welcome form a lady behind the bar, who didn't say 'hello' or offer any form of welcome, just a rather brusque 'Are you booking in?' The room? We booked a standard twin because my wife was convinced she...
