We really enjoyed our two night stay in a family room. The staff were friendly and our children enjoyed the pool facilities. While the bar meals are not cheap the food was good and the breakfasts were excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

We are regular users of this hotel, when attending family functions, as it is conveniently near to our son's house. This review is of our latest stay. Please see my previous reviews for more detailed comments. This time we got to specify a room on-line before arriving and chose 116 which we had used previously. This is sufficiently large and...

One night stay and checked in around 6pm. Parking was no issue and welcomed as Gold member with an upgrade to the Manor home located separate building, which can be accessed via reception or out of the door and to the left. Allocated 315 - Autumn Room. Large room with large bathroom. Room was clean and tidy......except when I went...

Lovely view from room over the back of the hotel with gardens and golf course. As others have said a little tired decoration wise, no wardrobe just hanging rail and large bathroom with wasted space, which was ok cleanliness wise but remodelling space would be beneficial. Stayed over as attending a charity event so more for practical reasons than venue...

To be fair to this hotel, our family room looked like it had been recently redecorated judging from the wall paper in the bedroom. The dated and worn out bathroom though had obviously been untouched. Even worse, the bathroom needed a thorough cleanse. It's a good thing that we took some disinfectant wipes with us. For one thing, they helped...

We booked a night here at the last minute, and I have to say; we were thoroughly impressed. The service offered by the hotel staff from the front desk to the restaurant and spa is pleasant and personable and they really made our stay an enjoyable one. The meals available at the restaurant were thoroughly enjoyable, with the children's pizza...

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel - the location is central to a number of attractions and the hotel itself is welcoming - if a little dated... The staff were very helpful and the breakfast choice and standard very impressive

If reviews are gold dust to a hotel's performance improvement then here is an ingot. The staff are this place's redeeming factor. Attentive and helpful. Facilities: aged and lacklustre. Sink in our room was cracked, wallpaper on floor one starting to peel. The whole place needed open windows and a good airing. The breakfast restaurant's sticky floor a good old...

We stayed here for 1 night and were really looking forward to using the spa facilities. The hotel is in a great location and looked very grand from the outside and entrance. The rooms however are dated and most definitely due for an upgrade! I do not feel that we had value for money with the room. The swimming pool...
