This very old Hotel is a delight, great staff, good breakfast freshly prepared, cosy and a real step back in time. With prior knowledge we booked a room at the back for quietness and was not disappointed. Good views overlooking the river and the Malvern hills in the distance.

Lovely old fashioned hotel so comfy. Food was stunning. Very friendly staff but don't fuss. Nice beer garden. Lots of little nooks and crannies to chill out inside hotel. Beautiful surroundings. We went to the Upton music festival which was fab. Would definitely return to this hotel.

The hotel is steeped in character and if only the walls could talk. Kept very clean and the young staff were excellent. Also had a meal in the bar and the standard was very good and prices were good as well. Would stay there again.

friendly and helpful staff and a great breakfast. Nice room although road noise at front of building was intrusive and mattress was too hard for my taste. loads of character though. Good bar & bar meals, a good selection of ales to enjoy in the lovely beer garden at the back with access to the canal & river. car parking...

My family & I stayed here the night before my father's funeral as we all lived a distance away. The rooms were very clean & comfortable - it was good value for money. We didn't eat there on the evening before although we have on a previous occasion & of course, we had breakfast which was fine. For me personally,...

The hotel is conveniently situated fronting the High Street and there is private car parking approached from the rear. Our room was a good size with plenty of hanging and cupboard space; the bed was a four poster type and was comfortable. From one of the windows we had a lovely view of the canal and lock leading to the...

Stayed here for one night on a trip back north from holiday. The journey had been a nightmare so the extremely welcoming and helpful staff member on reception was much appreciated. It's a very old building so a bit rickety and odd but the value is great. The room was fine but the decor is a bit tired. The en...

Stayed here for two nights. On the first night a friend of mine had come up from London and so I told staff that I would need double residency that night. I asked if a duvet or a few extra sheets could be located and paid the surcharge. The best they could manage was one single sheet on what was...
