Me and my 3 colleagues stayed there for 3 weeks through the training course. Despite the fact we must have been the loudest crowd this hotel had ever seen the owners and the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more accomodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food fantastic and the general atmosphere just great. Going there after the...

This is a beautiful house with lots of character (please bear this in mind as it also means not everything can be easily modernised as it would spoil the place). We stayed here at the beginning of March this year and it wasn't great weather which did cause some issues. My husband had recently broken his shoulder so was really...

We stayed for one night and were put in the back annex which had dirty and innappropriate bed covers(ie a really heavy winter duvet with dirty cover in August). The room had old brown decorations which added to the gloom and depressing experience. If you stayed in the main building the experience might have been better but we were treated...

We stayed two nights, one of them on a Groupon offer. This is a lovely small hotel, beautiful décor, spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful - thank you Nicky for the emergency chocolate! The breakfasts are beautifully cooked, hot and fresh. The pasta dish in the evening was lovely, though we found the sticky toffee pudding something...

The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was taken in the main house which is a beautiful building, lots of character. The breakfast was great. Everything you...

Travelled to Preston to compete in a weekend sporting event, don't want to bore anybody so my wife and I spent three nights with breakfast. Excellent is my review on the staff, accommodation and the breakfast and choice of it served. In the bar are a few pictures of celebs who have stayed here and they also appeared in the...

We had a bit of bother with hotels and booking and these wonderful women couldn't have helped us out any more even if they tried. They went out their way late in the evening to sort us the best way they could. The hotel was at a very high pristine standard, I couldn't find fault. Breakfast was perfect. They whole...

We got a groupon deal for a 2 course meal with B & B for £69. For this price we felt we got amazing value for money. The staff were all very friendly and we enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and the feel of the hotel is quite intimate with not having many rooms. The restaurant room is...
