We arrive to a wonderful reception from Bob. Very friendly, helpful, informative and cheery. Our room had a funky smell on entering. The bathroom was a box and the previous occupant's bowel movement was streaked in the toilet... The hotel isn't like your usual Premier Inn. Must more run down but with the same colours and branding. Returning from a...

May I begin by saying that I frequently use Premier Inn and find the brand on the whole excellent. This Inn however is poor, and dangerous with the food offering appalling. 1) I had to wait to be served upon arrival, there was no one on the reception at approx 7pm 2) I rushed to room and out to pub...

We booked the premier inn 3 weeks in advance for £29 for a Saturday night so we could go to a local wedding. we were allocated room 34 which backs onto a wooded area so its ideal for a quiet nights sleep. However you may hear traffic if your room is on the road facing side so cannot comment. We...

Visiting nearby golf club to celebrate 60th birthday of a close friend on the Saturday evening. Inn very handy for Preston town centre for retail therapy during the afternoon. Easier and cheaper to go into town on the bus than by car and to search for a parking area. Very comfortable overnight stay and excellent value-£29 per room. Breakfast taken...

We booked well in advance so were able to get the lowest rate for a room for 3. That meant from the start of our overnight stop we were in a good mood! We stayed in room 21 which was situated on the first floor at the top of the stairs. The corridor door was well maintained to minimise noise...

Never ever book this hotel. There is damp on the exterior walls, someone elses blood on my childs bed which was never changed throughout our stay. The damp has now effected his chest. None of the staff seemed to care. The head office dont seem to care either. The wi fi is weak, the showers are not pressured enough so...

It had been a cold day and the whole experience of this Premier Inn was warm, welcoming and comfortable. Warm and comfortable room with a proper sized bath towel in the shower. Warm welcome on check in and a good and healthy meal in the adjacent restaurant (Hungry Horse).

I stay in Premier Inns every week on business and for the most part they offer consistent standards. Occasionally though I do stumble across some less than ideal places and this was one of them. The building is old and in need of major refreshment immediately. Room 31 has a door frame which is broken (clearly kicked in at some...

I am a fan of the Premier Inn brand as it usually represents good value for money and a good standard of hotel rooms. However the Preston West Premier Inn is poor. As a family of 5 we booked two family rooms. Both rooms were small and had a damp smell. The bathrooms were also small for premier inns. I...

We generally use premier inn when we go away as a family. You know what your going to get. Yes this is an older hotel. But it was good enough for what we wanted. We got a cheap deal and used it as a stop off for a visit to Blackpool. The pub next door is handy. All the staff...
