Additionally the fact that they have a designated gluten free menu was excellent, as my partner suffers from coeliac disease which means she had varied options to choose from, as most pubs don't cater or they give you a book of...

Lots of roaring log fires and little snug corners it is delightful. We stayed for food and it was divine! I know most of the food is locally...

Had a nice meal with family, friday night bit quite and lacking in atmosphere, waiters and staff very attentive, just found the drinks expensive, pint of lager and white wine no change from a tenner. Consequently didn't spend much over bar, probably why it was quiet

We finally got round to staying at the place. Welcoming smiles. Sizeable warm room. Comfy bed. Good shower. Friendly staff. Great beers. Nice wine. Hearty breakfast. Caught bus to Lancaster in pub car park.

We had a lovely lunch served by very pleasant staff looking out on a beautiful view but we both felt the pub could do with a serious upgrade. The furniture cutlery carpets well past sell by date, and the toilets although clean need bringing into the 21st century,it's a shame because it's a great location & the the outside window boxes &...
