Fabulous food and amazing staff. Despite being deservedly busy the staff are never too busy to discuss things with you. Brilliant service, great fresh food, plenty of variety. Lovely atmosphere. Big thanks xx

Visited to spend a special occasion- a walk down memory lane. The hotel doesn't disappoint. Warm and friendly staff, clean and comfortable hotel with a spacious room nicely decorated with big bath towels ( it's my thing!). To complete the boutique type hotel I suggest biscuits, decaf coffee and nice toiletries in the room. My only gripe is the price...

Just visited for a Friday/Saturday night to attend Doncaster races. Booked 2 rooms for ourselves and friends. Standard room was really nice although view of the car park was not very desirable. Would of loved a room looking out onto the square but maybe these are upgraded? Slept well and found staff very attentive. We ate in the bar on...

Very close to the town centre, we went for a family wedding, the food was lovely. Reception staff very welcoming on arrival and staff especially Michelle very good. Car parking was easy to find. Rooms very clean, view from bedroom window was over a lovely park. Breakfast was great and very hot, would highly recommend the full English breakfast.

The Regent is unlike any other hotel I have ever stayed at (and I've stayed at a few!). My personal requests were met (a room with a desk, a sofa and a view) on arrival I was taken to the most beautiful room overlooking a green and leafy central park. I met Simon, the owner who told me that the...

I read several really good reviews before booking 2 rooms here for myself and a work colleague. I will briefly summarise as follows. Check in - lovely lady checked us in, very efficient. Dinner - pretty good bar food selection, especially if you like Thai food, and the cook popped our to say hi. She was fab, really chatty, friendly...

A pleasant family run place with atmosphere and history. Beatles fans would love this place because of its authentic connections. Drinks are above average forI local prices. Rooms are comfortable but not solubrious. Staff are accommodating and friendly. So close for many local connections.

Stayed here for 1 night as we were attending a 50th birthday party there. Check in was quick and easy with friendly staff. We found our way to our double room, lots and lots of doors to go through but no problem to us. Our room was basic - but that's what we'd booked, it was clean and the bathroom...
