We'd walked down to Chipping Camden from Dover's Hill and were looking for somewhere to have a light lunch. We walked past the Bantam Tea Rooms had look at the menu which had a selection of sandwiches, paninis and toasties along with a selection of other things. They are also licensed and have a small selection of beers, cider and...

On our first visit to Chipping Campden we'd booked a 2 night stay at the Bantam Tea Rooms. We stayed in Room 1 overlooking the old Market Hall, a lovely, bright and spotlessly clean room. The Tea rooms have the added benefit of private parking for guests. Each morning we were served a delicious cooked breakfast in the Tea Rooms,...

Lovely B&B, the host was very accommodating even though I was running late for check in and made sure the Keys were available for me. The room was a twin room, it was simple, clean and comfortable. Morning breakfast was sensational. I would stay here again.

Great spot for a cream tea - be prepared for very large and delicious scones! Lovely staff. Good value and great location in the middle of Chipping Campden. You can buy preserves to take away too. Full menu also available.

Visited for lunch on a cold wet and misty Sunday. Lovely open fire which we managed to sit next to, pleasant staff and food of good quality and by Chipping Camden standards well priced. But in my humble opinion could be transformed with minimum effort and expense, most people these days want cosy, modern and welcoming interiors. A few pounds...

Large open tea rooms with fresh cakes, warm and cosy. Good service and nice people. Some interesting accommodation being built out the back to a very high standard. Beautiful Cotswold village location for walks and heritage.

Located on the high street it is easy to miss this cosy little place .the big fireplace and low ceiling make up for a worm atmosphere just like you want for winter times. The coffee is one of the best I had and the staff are very friendly.

Found this place very average, and only used the tearoom. Cakes were fine as was the tea, but it is very dreary and drab inside from an interior perspective. It's in need of thorough update and a deep scrub. It's very dark inside with poor lighting. Staff were nice enough. I do believe that there are better tearooms in the...

Lovely welcoming tea rooms in a delightful village. Roaring fire, many cakes but opted for a spicy tea cake, which was very tasty. Lots of home made jams for sale, friendly staff and comfortable seating. Also offer B and B accommodation, but that's for another time, now we know about it.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Bantam Tea Rooms and Guest House is a traditional English Tea Room that offers excellent bed and breakfast accommodation. We are nestled in the heart of the historic market town of Chipping Campden. The premises was built in 1693 and directly overlooks the 17th-century Market Hall. The Bantam is situated on the High Street amongst beautifully preserved listed buildings of golden Cotswold stone, many of which date between the 14th and 17th century. Passersby cannot fail to be tempted inside by our display of mouth watering, home-made cakes which are freshly baked daily in our in-house bakery. Also all our delicious lunches are hand made on the premises. We pride ourselves on our impeccable reputation, locally, nationally and internationally. The Tea Rooms have a lovely tea garden which guests can enjoy from May to September. Guests staying overnight at the Bantam have evening access to the garden. We have our own private car park for residents at the rear of the property. Our stylish en-suite rooms are tastefully decorated with a comfortable and cosy feel. There is a peaceful, private guest lounge and throughout the winter months you can enjoy your delicious breakfast by our roaring log fire. Our rooms enjoy wonderful views of Chipping Campden. Our accommodation is open all year round including Christmas and New Year. ... more   less
