A lovely hotel set in a great location in the heart of Chipping Camden, with lovely grounds which had lots of seating areas. We stayed 2 nights in total. We were 4 couples and everyone was pleased with their rooms; lovely large comfortable beds with good pillows and quality bed linen. The bathroom had robes and slippers, and toiletries which... More

We booked the junior suite worth every penny . Massive room , extremely comfortable King bed and pillows Large TV and large leather lounge in front of the fire place , desk , dining , table and more. The sunken ensuite is the nicest we have had anywhere in the U.K. Lie back in the massive bath and watch TV... More

Really rate this hotel staff very attentive and friendly. We stayed 2 nights in a lovely room super clean proper teapot and a coffee percolator and home made cookies. When they go to that much effort you know from the outset its a goodun. The spa is a short walk down the bottom of the garden and again the staff... More

Really sad to say I was so disappointed by this 'award winning spa hotel'. We rang to check they had a jacuzzi before we booked, they assured us they did but upon arrival at the spa the 'jacuzzi' was just a part of the (very cold) pool which was bubbly. A real shame. The food in the hotel restaurant was... More

First good parts good excellent and staff in restaurant really responsive. Breakfast both days inexplicably slow but dinner was fine. No luxurious lounge for afternoon tea just perfectly decent bar. Reception ok but not exactly overwhelming warmth. For this price range room was ok but too many niggles. Lighting a mystery , constantly dropping shower, large bathroom but way too... More

Just spent a couple of days away here with the dogs. Everything was excellent one of the cottage rooms had plenty of space decor tasteful and well equipped. Travelling with the dogs can sometimes be a bit hit and miss however this hotel was very friendly towards the pets and nothing was too much trouble. We highly recommend if travelling... More

Chose a quiet midweek day to visit. Service quick and attentive although they forgot the jam first time round. Scones very small and although tasty you could do better at many super markets. Not special enough for price.

We bought a one night stay with breakfast through Secret Escapes. Called the hotel before booking to make sure that they could accomodate an extra bed in the room for our daughter, which they could. The room was comfy and cosy, lots of extras like soaps, shampoos etc, coffee, tea plus homebaked cookies. The hotel is prettily Georgian in style and... More

My wife and I stayed for two nights in a cottage double room. The room was attractive and comfortable, with a jacuzzi in the room's own small garden. The weather was not good enough to use the latter, but we did both have very relaxing treatments in the hotel's spa at the end of the beautiful gardens. Breakfasts were very... More

This hotel was a very nice stop over while we toured Cotswold villages and some other places, stopped off at Stratford upon Avon on our way North afterwards. The room was comfortable, food was very nice and reasonable prices. Staff friendly and helpful except when it came to dragging baggage through carpark covered in small stones. There were a couple...
