This place needs a good clean and some decorating. It has no garden, as you might expect, it's just that it's in Piccadilly Gardens. It is noisy too, even rooms at the back blighted by noise from some kind of machine or generator and if it rains the noise of the rain on the glass roofing below.

Paid £122 for 1 night here, very disappointing. Possitives first...fantastic location, friendly staff, adequate room facilities..negatives...rooms far to hot even with window open, breakfast awful, dodgy lift , very expensive for this experience. Travel lodges & premier inn's much more value for money

Me and my partner stayed here overnight to watch a show in Manchester. First impressions were good, friendly staff, fast check in and nice clean room, comfy bed, pillows a bit flat but got some extra off reception so all good. Very good powerful shower. Only slight problem was coming back on the night and finding three guys in entrance...

My friend an I stayed here for two nights, while we explored the Christmas markets. The hotel is in a very good location and a short walk from Piccadilly train station. Our room was one of the unrefurbished rooms on the fourth floor. Our room was clean spacious and we got an amazingly good deal on the price. The staff...

Great location and friendly staff but very dated and poor room. Very noisy and probably one of the worst nights sleep ever with noise and creaks coming from all over the hotel. Ok for 1 nights stay but that's it.

Booked for one night on business. Room was clean, warm and well appointed (ironing board and iron, kettle etc). The reception staff were friendly and efficient. Generally a confortable night. The area directly outside the hotel may feel a bit intimidating for some travellers but it is right in the centre of the city and there are always lots of people...

An old hotel with perfect location. A quite outdated interior. Not expensive at all. A really good WiFi. The bed was very hard and there was bubblegum between the window sash. Otherwise the room was clean. The windows were so thin that you could hear everything from the street.

Room had very soiled carpet, Old room badly needing redecoration, there was a dirty spoon on the tea/coffee tray. Pillows terrible, completely flat. The shower control knob was so stiff, Soap dispenser didn't work. Female receptionist that checked us in was quite rude and not at all friendly, but apart from her all the other staff were very helpful. The...
