I was rubbed by this 'so called hotel' they take your money and kick you out!! Be careful, staff are extremely rude! The place is a mess, definitely not for human use. If you book in this place, you are certainly going to regret it, not only, but it could be your worst mistake. If they take your money, they...

The hotel was set back in some beautiful countryside. Staff were friendly and attentive. Dinner was well cooked and presented, with a simple but well planned menu. I had a large room, which was comfortable and spacious. Overall an excellent hotel from Best Western and one on list to come back to.

I was due to stay here in June but the property cancelled my booking 2 weeks beforehand as they were having refurbishment work done. No problem there, I booked alternative accommodation. However it is now 2 months later and despite half a dozen phonecalls and emails to the property they have not refunded my payment of £70. Absolutely disgraceful! When...

Wow - this place is something else. I stayed with 21 other mates in a room full of bunk beds for a stag weekend. We were put in the basement (or as we affectionately called it the "Dungeon Room") 3 tiny Windows that were blacked out and couldn't be opened. You can imagine the smell on top of the already...

Staff generally completely unmotivated to assist you with a few rare exceptions. The wifi is terrible, the rooms are dirty and the whole atmosphere made me want to pack my bags and leave. The fire alarms went off several times, all 'false alarms' and apparently a very common occurrence. Only plus is that is so close to the train station,...

Not expecting too much, especially with the hostel full with fans attending a big gig at Etihad (like myself), I didn't get much sleep due to doors that slammed themself shut, no fresh air in the dorm (no windows can be opened), music and conversation noise that could easily be heard through the thin walls), no security staff around to...

2 rooms booked 6months in advance of planned trip. Other friends on my initial recommendation booked rooms at this hotel 3 months after we did. Three weeks in advance of the planned trip an email was received cancelling the booking without any opportunity to request or arrange alternative accommodation. The knock on effect was stress, additional costs and hassle trying...

After booking in January we paid the deposit in and were told to we pay the rest on arrival, without permission the full amount was taken out of my bank, I phoned up about this only to be told that it was their policy even though it clearly states on my booking that we are to pay on arrival, and...

Like many double charged, when called to ask why simply told "this happens a lot". Still waiting on a refund, total mess. Fire alarm went off @ 8.30am for 15mins w/no explanation. Building work the wall next door. So bad it was funny, fine for the price but wow
