Stayed at the hotel the night before a work event. Checking in was easy with helpful staff who explained all what we needed. Myself and a colleague booked into a twin room. It was quite dated but clean and warm. The TV was very old and the remote didn't work properly but this wasn't a big deal. The fan in...

Nicely located and reasonably priced. Food freshly cooked and not over priced for the area. The room was spotlessly clean and well serciced while I was there. The only slight niggle was the bathroom fans are noisy and the sound insulation between the bathrooms needs upgrading. One of the better hotels of its type in Manchester

I was in Manchester on business, and this hotel was perfect for my needs. The room was small, but it had everything I needed. I didn't eat there or use the bar, so I can't comment on the food. The computer was down the day I got there, but after a bit of wait, I was allocated a room.

I recently stayed at this hotel for one night for my boyfriends birthday, everything was fine, room was clean fairly good location (was a 10 minute taxi ride away) However I was required to pay a £25 deposit on arrival which I was unaware of, nonetheless I paid it with the reassurance I'd get it back within the next couple...

Dear Geneva Thank you for your review and feedback. We very much appreciate all comments. the £25 deposit is only pre-authorization, is the practice within the hotel industry of authorizing electronic transactions done with a debit card or credit card and holding this balance as unavailable either until the merchant clears the transaction (also called settlement), or the hold "falls...

We had a good nights stay at this Hotel. The man at Reception was extremely welcoming & helpful. Our City room was small, but perfectly adequate for our needs, with above average trimmings in the room, like thick towels. It was 5 mins walk to Oxford Road station & easy enough to find following the web site directions. We will...

A nice hotel with with a great location for the gay village. The service at reception was pleasant, helpful and efficient. The bar staff were outstanding. Bed was a little stiff and the wifi was unstable in my first room (404 I think) but I was moved to 412 with no fuss and it was fine. The heating on the...

Many thanks for sharing your experience whilst visiting Manchester for the weekend. It’s good to understand that your compact ‘city-double’ room offered everything you needed for a comfortable short stay. We have larger rooms available if room-size and space is a more important consideration. We hope to extend another warm and friendly welcome to you in the future.

We stayed here for a New Year's Eve party, friendly and hard working staff, clean rooms and a really well organised party night. The breakfast was also top class and great service. We stayed as a family with 2 kids (7&9) and we all enjoyed the night, the kids entertainment was fantastic and lasted most of the night.

Well, found the hotel eventually. Lovely setting, great staff..... The Room ... Right if you have a cat... Do not bring it because you will not be able to swing it around the room... Unbelievable... One of the smallest rooms available in Manchester.

The room was lovely. Great bed and shower. The room had a bottle of wine in it, which you could have for 12 pound, which was cheaper than the prices at the bar. It had a good hair dryer attached to the wall with a mirror next to it. Great for the ladies of course!!. I stayed there as it...
