You can blindly book the YHA if you're going to Manchester ! +++ It's really clean, quiet +++ You can have food and drinks til late at night +++ People are really welcoming +++ The tram station is just by the YHA +++ After a 10 minutes walk you're in the center of Manchester

The hostel is nestled on a street that if you are not cognizant, you will miss but that's the charm. It was cozy and the food/bar was excellent. Gre8t staff too! Easy to reach from Manchester Airport via train.

It's a lovely approach to this hostel with the modern exterior and canal setting, and the interior doesn't disappoint, it's relaxing with games to entertain. The room was pretty standard for a YHA but the shower room was basically a cupboard, so I was a little disappointed as we were staying with our two teenage boys. I had thought we'd...

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. As a result of your feedback we've ordered a new toaster and I've asked our housekeeping team to do an audit of the self catering kitchen and order anything that's missing. The hostel is purpose built (there wasn't a smaller one here before), the self catering kitchen is on the...

Very nice lobby, easy check in, nice beds, bathroom a bit cramped. Has charging ports on walls next to beds (even on top bunks) which is handy and also USB ports. Comfortable enough bed. Great value for money and will definitely be back.

Hostel is a cheap and cheerful place. The self catering kitchen is adequate. The laundry facilities are coin operated which I wasn't aware of. £3 for a wash and £2 for a dry. Staying in a 4 bed room means dealing with all sorts so I recommend eye masks and ear plugs. Particularly if you are a sensitive sleeper as...

Good value for money in this classic YHA hostel, recommended for solo travellers, comfortable mattress, helpful staff, nice bar/coffee area and kitchen, all clean, lovely building and surrounding in the Potato Wharf area. Nice walk towards town, bars and restaurants area quite close.

So incredibly disappointed of this Hostel. The first thing we had to do was to change our sheets because they were covers in hair. The toilet was dirty and the room smelled apple to cover the smoke. The breakfast and dinner did not live up to the standards, the employers were rude and not service minded at all. I would...

Was only fleeting as we'd played a show at Club Rebellion & didn't get to check in till 2am (thank the maker for 24 hour check in). Had to leave to get back on the road at 6am so didn't get my full quota of sleep (through no fault of the establishment of course, purely our own doing). Really good...

A lot of noise in this hostel. I was there for a couple nights, Each night, between 3 am and 5 am, people are sreaming in the room and in the hall. One night, the fire alarm as started for no reason during 30 minutes. The solution of the staff for all this problem is: you can by our plug.....
