Staff were very friendly, very helpful and extremely welcoming! Great facilities, service and a very comfy bed - only stayed one night and wish it was longer! Would definitely come again! Will be booking here from now on when ever I visit Manchester in the future! Thank you :)

We stayed for one night and had very friendly customer service and tasty breakfast. Comfortable room and whilst the bathroom and windows dated it is cheaper than many city centre hotels. The location is superb right next to great pubs Harvey nicks and the cathedral!

We stayed here for a night before a flight. The price was very reasonable and the room was fine, clean and quiet. I awoke at around midnight and was restless but didn't know why, so shifted into the single bed. At 3am I woke up scratching. After travelling a lot over the last 15 years I knew what it was...

The Mitre hotel is ideally situated next to the Arndale Centre, The Oyster Bar and Manchester Cathedral. It is a quirky old building, with stained glass windows and wonky floors, but this only adds to the character. Our room faced on to the Arndale centre, and was enormous, it could have quite comfortably slept 4, not just my partner and...

After visiting Manchester on a number of occasions shopping/ dining and concerts. We often call in the pub at this hotel and are happy with service and presentation of the pub. As a treat we decided to book a room from the images we seen of the rooms on the website. It looks very Grande. "How wrong we were" ....

Me and wife recently stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We never normally write reviews, however, on this occasion we really wanted to express what a nice place The Mitre Hotel is. It is located in the heart of Manchester with everything you need in walking distance. As for the previous comments, i just don't know what people expect,...

Spent one night here on a theatre visit. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was basic but clean and bed wasn't the most comfortable I've slept in but was ok for one night. It is right in centre, above a pub so a great location in terms of getting to places, but not if you are a light sleeper...

NOTHING like the photos. Very average. Can't believe I paid £275 for this room for 3 nights. The beds are horrible to sleep in. Pillows are hard, nothing hardly in them. The toilet is simple. Just a toilet and a cheap shower. Sink outside the bathroom?? I hate it here. Please do not stay here!!!
