This is the worst place i have ever stayed, it was disgusting. The bathroom was full of mould & the shower head was black with mould. We didn't dare shower, figured we would come out dirtier. Place smelt stale & the corridors smelt of wee. Duvet was so thin, more like a sheet & was dirty & covered in body... More

Arrived around 18:30 on Sat night for two nights!! We had to access the hotel through the busy bar. Not the greatest start! When I eventually got the barmaids attention they called for a guy to come from anther hotel to check us in. The pub is nothing to do with the hotel. The guy showed us to our rooms... More

Great location, friendly staff, nice clean rooms with everything you need for the night. Comfy bed, tv, kettle and everything you need to make a brew. The pub below is good and gets busy with people singing on the Karaoke. Quite fun walking through to your room! Great value for money, will definitely return.

We stayed for the 1 night. Yes we knew it wasn't gonna be that great because of how we paid. Strange set up with checking in back snug room with keys kept in a cupboard. We had to trudge up bout 4 flights of stairs. Were kindly showed to our room by a lovely member of staff who was used... More

This is a strange set up, it's over and accessed by a pub that has nothing to do with the actual hotel! There are no staff on hand if you have any issues. Our room was dirty and very minimally furnished. There was no bin in the bathroom and no mirror except the little bathroom one. There was an array... More

The young man who treated us was fab BUT I soon felt for him We arrived at 5pm booking in was 2pm onwards. Firstly he couldn't find the key to our room 15 mins later he found it but the key fob for the main door didn't work so another 10 min wait. When we eventually got into the entrance... More

Great location central to....well everything! Minutes from central Manchester and a great hub for food, drink, and music. Had two nights here while sampling the city. Great friendly atmosphere and the pub downstairs is safe and friendly! If you can't sleep through the hubbub of city life then maybe not for you!! Personally it rocked me to sleep. Awsome tidy .... If you are looking for a posh quiet hotel then this isn't for you. However of you're looking for a base in central manchester for a bargain price and you don't mind noise then this is ideal. It's a budget room above a busy manchester pub. It is a good central location with lots of places to eat and drink... More

Well it's a cheap hotel. I payed only 25£. It was clean, my room had no windows. The pub in the ground made a lot of noise, but because I was in the last floor it doesn't bother me so much. The staff was really nice. To access the hotel you have to pass the pub and because I came... More

Had a 2 night stay here. No reception but the girl was really accommodating and waited outside for me to arrive (I was late). She was a delight. I'd describe this place as an upmarket doss-house really. Although the shower was fine the bathroom was musty and the whole place was a bit grubby. The TV didn't work and there... More
