This is no frills accommodation but it is by no where near as bad as some of the bad reviews... maybe some people have champagne taste but not the budget.... when Man U play at home there is always very little room at the Inn left and the cheaper establishments prices raise simple economics. Now I travelled on my own...

As this is rooms above a pub I didn't know what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised. I walked in on Saturday afternoon and the place was lively which suited us. I approached a girl at the bar and she was really friendly and welcoming so that was a really good start. Our room was up two flights...

Chose this place because it's close to the railway station. However, it turned out to be a very noisy location. I could actually feel the springs poking into my body in the very uncomfortable bed. Shared bathroom was not very nice. Cheap pub accommodation . I guess you get what you pay for, but it surely should be possible to...

I stayed in Room 1 - it was clean and had everything I could have wanted other than Wifi which was a bit of a pain - apparently my room was too far away from the router and it was advised that I create a login for the Wifi of the hostel over the road which wasn't really good enough...

Dirty, tired and above a very noisy pub. No en suite bathroom. Located close to the station and city centre shopping. Mayhem on the streets outside as soon as the sun went down. On the plus side the staff were very friendly.

Chose this place for convenient walking distance from mainline station. Looked like a traditional pub hotel, but it is in a run down area of noisy traffic, blaring music from clubs, people yelling in the street well into the early hours, as well as thumping music from the bar downstairs. Shared bathroom worked OK for me but was not reflected...
