Disgusting and filthy. DSS/Homeless hostel - no disrespect - but should be informed before booking as, unfortunately these people have little choice but to have to pay out of your own pocket for such substandard accommodation is robbery. Didn't stay as it was so bad but refused a refund.

When one thinks of paradise, they think of the Mediterranean and the Maldives.........when I think of Hell, this hotel springs to mind. The smell upon entry hit the nostrils like a dirty sock catapulted at the face. The cataclysmic state of the rooms was like a scene out of Ross Kemps incredible and captivating "extreme world" tv series (Props to...

Shocking customer service. Had two rooms booked for months. Then with two weeks to go get an email saying our booking is canceled due to the boiler not working? Fair enough but how long does it take to fix a boiler? Not 2 weeks by anyone's standards. Something not right here. Up to no good if you ask me as...

Cancelled our booking of 2 rooms after 2 months of making the booking due to them suddenly realising they were over booked. Had to ring up 5 times in order to chase the order confirmation email, never received one, on the 5th call they advised the booked had been cancelled, and that an email advising of this had been sent....

Had a pleasant stay, reasonable rate and very close to local amenities. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Would recommend for anyone visiting Manchester as there is a frequent bus service into city Centre

My experience wasn't anything like most of the reviewers. I paid £40 for a double room and wasn't expecting luxury. If you just need somewhere to sleep in the area then this place is fine. No complaints.

I stayed here back in May when we visited Manchester to see the Foo Fighters and wanted a cheap hotel. I should have reviewed this months ago but I suppressed the experience in my mind and it has only just come screaming back to me. Do not stay here!!!! The staff may have been friendly but the room was just...

I stayed at this hotel with my sister as a last minute resort. We visited Manchester for a hen do and on a budget this was the cheapest place we could find. We paid £56 for a nights stay at this place and I wish I had paid a little bit more for a decent hotel closer to town. (It...

The Landsdowne was hands down the single worst hotel I've ever had the misfortune to stay in. I mean, where to start...? Blood stains on the floor (room 302) Bathroom door splintered in half Radiator pipes 'insulated' with Sainsbury's carrier bags TV remote covered in grime... I couldn't even bring myself to use the shower it was that filthy! Their...
