We arrived yesterday (22/03/2016) at 5 O'clock, we wanted to park in the hotel but couldn't find it. So we asked the concierge and he gave us precise directions. I think £25 is reasonable as it is in the heart of Manchester. Check in was very good, had a warm welcome from Lucas and he checked me us in quick....

So you are looking for a business hotel in the heart of Manchester well this is where I picked. On the garden square you are no more than a 10/15min walk from any part of the city centre I know walked it most nights. Hotel is rated as 4* but I personally say it is more 3*. Room - standard...

Dear He11hound, Thank you for your detailed feedback in regards to your recent stay. We are indeed very fortunate with the location within Piccadilly Gardens - perfect for visiting Manchester City centre. I am pleased to read that you found the guest room satisfactory, although small they do provide everything our guest needs. Unfortunately no, we do not have fridges...

They don't tell people that they only own half of the car park despite the sign up the ramp that says "Hotel Entrance & Car Park". Paid £10 to park in said car park to then find a £100 penalty. Manager wouldn't even speak to me to discuss. Appalling customer service.

We stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate my wife's 40th with a group of friends. The location was great as it was near the train station, some nice bars and the restaurant (Fazenda) that we had booked for the Saturday night. The room was quite basic and small but it was clean, bed was comfy and the hotel was...

The hotel offers exactly what it says on the tin.. Comfortable, clean room.. Decent size too.. Helpful staff and good breakfast. The location is great, easy to access and parking was right on the doorstep! If I'm back in Manchester this would be the hotel I'd book as it was a reasonable price and fab location

I stayed here on business, but was not offered the warm welcome I have received elsewhere in the city. Indeed, there was not a hint of welcome at all, nor any recognition of the fact that I had been queuing for a while to check into the hotel. Having checked in, the room was barely big enough to fit the...

The hotel was great, staff were very polite. The bar in the hotel looks right out on to a tram stop with a green opposite, lovely place to site and people watch. Had an evening meal in the hotel which my husband said was one of the best meals he has had out (main was lamb cooked two ways). We...

Having stayed at Mercure Sheffield the night previous to arrive at Mercure Manchester it was a real disappointment, the bedroom was small... Walls paper thin.. Could hear people talking in the next room and general noises... The bar area was nice and spacious and breakfast was ok! It's not top of my pick list!
