This is an excellent place to stay in Colmar. It is run by the same family since 1913, if I understood correctly. Stefan, the young man who is now running the place, speaks good English and is extremely helpful as are the other members of the staff. We are staying in room 309 and this is a great room for... Nice and clean room, unfortunately we had the room without air condition, it was hot night, not so nice, Apparently they have also rooms with climate control, I did not know, I would gladly pay more for it, if they would advertise.Good breakfast, not included in the price, for the price of the room without air condition, they should at... Clean and comfortable for a one night stay. A 10 minute walk to the old part of the city. Early morning road noise but breakfast was substantial, including a cooked selection of eggs and bacon as well as cereal, fruit, pastries and cheeses etc.

The hotel is good and comfortable. The problem was Air-Conditioning was not working in the whole hotel, and was not fixed during my stay (3 nights). It was summer and hot, so not comfortable to sleep.

Stayed for two nights, room clean and okay but very dark due to the decoration, staff okay but a bit coolish,it is a ten/ fifteen minute walk into Colmar, but the hotel was quiet at night even being on a main road. We did not eat there as breakfast was twelve euros each so we eat in town for half... More

This was a comfortable and welcoming hotel. We were on a cycling tour, and we had assistance from the hotel staff finding a bike repair shop and using a covered area to park our bike and trailer. We were there during a hot spell. The hotel does not have air conditioning but the housekeeper brought us a fan, which helped... More

We only stayed one night but had problems with the timing of the booking through unexpected health problems. The hotel could not have been more helpful or welcoming. And we arrived the room, food and value for money were exceptional

Nice reception area on arrival & staff gave friendly welcome. Check-in was easy, but make sure you listen carefully regarding how to use the 'key' to open the door & also ask how to lock the door behind you! It's the strangest key I've ever seen & when leaving my room for the first time, I could not work out... More

Our room was small old and expensive, but clean. We only took this hotel, because Colmar was fully booked. If you have the choice we would recommend another hotel. Parking costs 8 Euro extra, breakfast was ok, but not more. Perhaps there are other rooms, but our did not fit the presented photos.

We were booked into this hotel as part of a cycle tour - the hotel is a bit tired but the reception team were very welcoming and friendly. We had been allocated a ground floor room that had all of the appearance and charm of a converted storage locker. It was down an passage by the restaurant where items for... More
