The spa area is delightful and the food both nutritious and tasty. We enjoyed the walks around the property and exploring the area, especially the Lalique musuem and Maison des Rochers. Great, friendly service and wonderful treatments in the spa.

I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay here. The combination of a great spa, delicious healthy food and the proximity of extensive hiking made for a rejuvenating stay. If you don't have a car its necessary to take a taxi from the train station, but this worked smoothly.

It was a great experience. The countryside is wonderful. The staff was very hospitable, and the facilities were modern and clean. A time much enjoyed. The food was quite good too. I especially enjoyed the variety at the breakfast buffer.

I decided to return to La Clairière, which I had previously visited with the family 12 and 13 years ago. Since then, I’ve been all over Alsace and Germany to various hotels for Christmas, all of which I have to say were wonderful. I was curious to see what changes Lisbeth and Kareen had made in the intervening years. I...

We enjoyed our stay overall, but were surprised by two aspects: the days we stayed, only one class was offered (yoga, etc.), and at inconvenient times. For example, upon arrival, we discovered that the only class of the day had already started and it was too late to join in. The following day, there was only 1 class during breakfast,...

We are happy you enjoyed your stay at La Clairière. We do offer a minimum of one class (etiher yoga, Qi Gong, Nordic Walking, meditation) per day. We are currently working on a new website where it will be possible to see the activity schedule and thus for our clients to plan their stay accordingly. The activities like yoga are...

The hotel had some good points; quiet, relaxed atmosphere, receptionists and spa personnel were very friendly and helpful. But the restaurant did not meet our expectations. We had to wait a long time (almost 1 hour), food was good but the service could be a lot better; they spook poor English, they ran out of bread, we were still hungry...

The pros... The food was amazing (detox menu so small portions and vegetarian), the room was big, the spa was wonderful. Staff all spoke English which was handy. The average... Rooms were a bit dated, totally fine, but for the price could have been more modern. Staff were cordial, but only had real "customer service" from Franck. Meals were pretty...

The hotel is in a wonderful setting, overlooking a forest, part of a national park. It's the perfect boutique hotel, small and intimate, with comfortable, elegant and spacious rooms. The spa itself is very well equipped, with a wide range of saunas, a couple of pools and a wonderful relaxation room. They offer a broad range of treatments that are...
