Understaffed...we had to wait a while before we were attended to as there was only one person at the reception and she was on an official call. Then yesterday morning, we had firemen barging into the room to ask us to leave as a fire had broken out two doors away from us. I was still in bed as it was 8am. However, there was no fire alarm sounded at all which I thought was strange. Anyway after about an hour standing out in the cold, we were allowed to reenter.The firemen were doing their duty but had we heard the alarm, it would have been more believable.

We stayed in ‘superior studio’ for 2 nights during heatwave. The room was air conditioned, clean with a comfortable bed, nice little kitchen, shower room. The room was on third floor and involved a walk up from the second floor on external staircase and across a little bridge. This was a bit of a nuisance if we got to the ground floor and realised we’d forgotten something in the room - didn’t do it twice!
Hotel is really well located just a couple of minutes to tram stop and with parking on site. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

Our stay at the hotel was pleasant, the room was quiet and the staff friendly.
I spent 2 weeks at the hotel because I recovered after a surgical intervention and the location was close to the Tivoli Ducos Clinic where I was operated on.
I felt calm during the entire stay.
If I return to Bordeaux, I will again choose to stay at the Galerie Tatry hotel.

We last stayed here 8 years ago during which time it has gone downhill. The first room we were allocated had mould all in the shower. We asked for a change to one which had just a shower ( for our own access needs) which was in the roof space. The bathroom here absolutely stank the whole of the 3 days we were there. Indeed after being shut up during the day we had to leave the door and window open to try and get some fresh air in. The kitchen facilities are in urgent need of updating as well as the overall decor. The staff were very good and parking on site and near the tram routes are the only plus points. There is no way we would ever consider going there again.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it was really disappointed. The hotel was dirty and in the room I found mold, spiderwebs, dirty kitchen and a fuse box that was failing out of the wall.
Regarding the breakfast I was lucky not to order at this was even more poor and the area is in the reception where everyone is walking by. The hotel are located in a not so nice neighbors and you really don’t feel secured. The reception are Mandes by teenagers that don’t know the word service.
This hotel should not be able to obtain 3 stars. I would say it is a 2 star hotel as I have been at 3 stars hotels that exceed the by miles.

Wonderful hotel for a family, plenty of room for 4. Only 15 minute tram ride to city centre, the tram is only 3 minutes away walking. Friendly staff at the hotel, easy checkin. Underground parking for your vehicle:)

desperately need renovation everything feels like it is falling apart. live mosquitos everywhere, dead mosquitos on ceiling. bathroom was smelling 2 days. in 7 days stay only 1 day was visited by cleaning service. even we announce that we will be at check-in at 2PM, the room still wasn't ready almost 1hour.

Apartment with a really tiny kitchen , good air conditioning and good big bed. The bathroom needs a shelf or some small furniture to put toiletries on. Located in a good hotel steps away from the tram line.

At this time of year, (or ask a native) mosquito are ubiquitous and I can confirm that this beautiful oasis at Bordeaux city was greatly enjoyed for the following reasons:-
1. Aircondition actually works very well
2. Very clean and ready to use kitchenette ( pls remember to wash & clean up asyou will be changed if left undone)
3.very quiet
I give them 5stars.

Close to the tram in few minutes to the center. Shopping for you ladies or wine tester at proximity for all of you gents
Excellent customer service at the réception but as all fairytale story a need of a good magic wand was needed for the cleanliness. Suggestion a better housekeeping service. Overall satisfaction a wide range at the breakfast.
