Detailed Reviews
The location of the Hotel is excellent but of course recent Covid problems have made staying anywhere problematic. We were travelling from Spain to Caen to catch the Ferry and stayed here.
The reception staff were excellent - carefully explaining how to order breakfast, room service and manage the arrangements. The rooms were excellent and well ordered. We had room service for dinner and the food was good ( Beef Bourginion and vegetable pasta) and then room service for breakfast - which was excellent.
Only an overnight stay but warm, comfortable and welcoming ... well done

I would imagine this hotel is on point if you are visiting Bordeaux for a conference. As a tourist it was good, but some elements missing. Parking, cleanliness, room size all great.
Service was exceptionally helpful and Hassom on the front desk a particular help and support in navigating a few translation issues.
Access to downtown Bordeaux is really easy by tram, one line, reasonable in cost and circa 20 mins. However late night travel as a women to the end of the line was intimidating and I would not do it alone again.
The room is large and cleanliness great, poorly designed! Lack of plugs and lighting the main concern. You have to chose one or the other if curling your hair!

Booked for one week once travel restrictions were lifted from Switzerland to France. Masks compulsory in all public indoor areas and alcohol gel was always readily available on entry, at the elevators and in the dining area. It felt well organized and safe. Only one person or one family group allowed in the elevators at a time. If you are able there are only four floors so it is always possible to use the stairs.
There is a kettle in the room so hot drinks are possible plus bottled water is provided every day in the refrigerator in the room. At the moment room service is not possible but you can collect drinks and food and it take to your room. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and didn’t disappoint. Tram outside takes you straight to the city center. All in all a great stay :-)

It doesn’t happen very often but sometimes you find a hotel that literally meets every expectation, and this is it, we booked last minute as it is near to the motorway on our way down to Barcelona and we have been so impressed. It has easy parking, the hotel is stunning, we were welcomed by a very competent member of the reception team who upgraded us to a room with a lake view and nespresso machine, robes were available also. The shower was huge with all the toiletries you would need, the bed comfortable and all was immaculate. Nothing was too much trouble here and we will definitely be staying next time we travel.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in a lake view suite for one night on 27 October 2022.
After going to bed at around 11pm, both my wife and I came up with bites.
After another hour, we called down to reception and shortly after 1215am the on duty manager and a translator came to our room.
They took pictures of an insect in the bedroom and then promptly offered us another room.
Because of the hour, we accepted another room which we subsequently found out overlooked the dustbins and were awoken a few hours later with the noise of the bin lorries.
To be clear I had arrived at the hotel after a 7 hour drive and had a further 6 hour drive the following day.
We then came down to breakfast that we had prebooked at 9am to find almost nothing left. No scrabbled eggs and almost no plates or cerial bowls.
When I asked about having some eggs, I was told that they had run out and what was out was all they had available.
When I went to reception to check out, I was told that the hotel was prepared to offer us a discount on the room. That discount however did not reflect the seriousness of the incident, nor the drop in grade of the room or the lack of breakfast options. And by the way, I am a premium Accor member!
I told them that they had no permission to charge my Amex without agreeing to a figure and I was told that was fine as someone would call me later in the day to resolve.
That call never happened so I raised a complaint via Booking.com who made the booking on my behalf. To date the hotel has not responded to their calls or emails either. They have however kept me in the loop.
This morning, whilst checking my Amex statement, I see the hotel has charged my credit card. It does reflect a discount but not an acceptable one and to date I have still not heard frpm the hotel ir received a statement of account either.
So I write this review to warn other possible guests of the issues in this hotel.
Stay here if you have to.
Wear clothes in bed in case you experience the same issues as I have.
If you have a problem with the hotel, don't expect them to resolve it.
In my experience this stay has been a disaster.

We recently stayed at this lovely hotel. It is situated about 30 minutes away from the city centre but a tram is right outside the door so problem with access. We had beautiful views of the lake and slept very well in this hotel. Pool area is nice if a little neglected, and hard to find. We never ate in the bar due to one reason. When we first arrived we were asked for €100 a night preauthorisation even though we had prepaid for the hotel in full, we had no notice about this and it wasn't in the email. We don't do credit cards (only debit) so this would have been a problem. However, to their credit they did not take the preauthorisation after going back and forth with them but made it clear we could not eat in the restaurant without a preauthorisation.
PROs
Air con
Spacious rooms
Views of lake
Comfortable bed
Nice furnishings
Modern
Tram stop to city outside door
NEGATIVES
Pool area could be cleaner looked after better
Asking for €100 preauthorisation when we paid for the hotel upfront
Not much in the area
Overall very enjoyable nice stay.

It was the worst experience as far as a hotel is concerned. Our room's air conditioner did not work, so we asked for a different room and were told we would get on the next day. The next day, they said they can't give us a different room. Our shower went from scalding hot to cold by itself. We complained, and they said they would have someone look at it, but never did. They had breakfast for 20 euros that included junk and eggs that could be called soup. It was just pitiful, all the way around. Find another place that does what they say.

It was a stopover night on the way to Spain. Good and safe parking area (good if you have a loaded car).
The room was confortable, but the door closer was broken and everytime we opened the door the whole corridor heard it - a really no-go for a 4 star hotel.
Really poor restaurant. No choice of drinks .I was hoping I could taste some interesting Bordeaux wine, All they had was the "House wine" which was probably some cheap Lidl wine.
Breakfast had a good choice of fruits, cheap cheese and cuts.
Next time, Ibis might do the job for a better price.

Just loved this Hotel. We did visit in the heatwave and I’d love to go back when the temperatures are a bit cooler. I did open the window in the room and the mosquitoes were pretty deadly so I advise anyone visiting to keep the windows closed in very hot weather as there is a lake opposite. The air con is wonderful and the bed most comfortable. Great shower. Hotel is lovely and clean and the staff are multi lingual and very helpful. It’s great that the tram into the City is regular and stops right outside. We were very glad to be outside the City and yet within easy reach as the temperatures were in the very high 30’s. The pool was a welcome release and no one wanted to leave.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a family interconnecting room. Check in was good and reception staff generally helpful. Although nothing plush, the rooms were spacious, clean and the beds comfortable with a nice view of the Lac. Breakfast was just okay - not what you would typically expect at a four star hotel for selection and service. We didn’t eat dinner mainly because the menu was limited. The bar area is very nice and the kids enjoyed the pool table. Drinks very expensive ! Fanta orange 5 euros!!!! And bar staff not the most friendly. We picked this hotel as it had an outdoor pool which was nice to have but in the end was nothing special. The location is good for easy access to central Bordeaux in 15 minutes via the tram. We used electric scooter hire to the nearby shopping centre for food on our last night and would recommend this if here with kids for food choice and value. We had a comfortable stay but I have rated it three as we paid a four star price for what really did feel like three star standard.

Yes there is parking and it's secure behind a barrier.
If you filter to French reviews multiple come up. Nobody from the UK stayed/reviewed
There are showers in the upgraded room but other rooms have an ugly bath with no enclosure. Also air conditioning does not work in the entire hotel. I changed 4 rooms and they are all hot. Go to Novotel next door.
i don't know.
just few Channel like lot of hotel in France.
Dear Guest,
Thank you for your booking, In order to specify the answer from Ricou 72, our parking costs exactly 8,50€ for 24 hours.
