Close to the main railways station (and not in front of it as other hotels) which makes it very practical.
You can reach the railway station in 5-7 min walk and the city centre in 10 min or less by tram (tram stop is just in front of the hotel).
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The room was small but clean and well furnished.
The building is well isolated so you can’t hear the outside noise. And there an air conditioning!
The breakfast costs 12€ per person and is a good value for money.
All in all (having also traveled enough and being able to compare different facilities) I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Bordeaux and I’ll surely choose it if I come back.
It would be really nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room, when they get a star rating. They deserve a 3 star rating!
The reception area has a work space in booths to appeal to working travellers.
The breakfast had a good choice of breads and pastries, nuts, seeds, cut mixed fruit with yogurt. You can boil your own eggs!
There is a small workout room.
At reception they have plenty of board games and few books.
Drinks are all chargeable.
The hotel has a modern contemporary style, minimal decor but pleasant.
Good place to stay!
The only thing is that the room is a bit small. Good for one or two nights but very small if you have luggage and for more nights.
