The Hotel Life Bordeaux is a very good hotel. It is has modern facilities and rooms, friendly and efficient staff and is situated close to a tram stop and within easy walking distance of Bordeaux's main train station. The bedrooms are modern, as noted above, but rather small. The breakfast is excellent and much better than one might reasonably expect from a two-star hotel.

Dear Frank , We greatly appreciate your positive feedback on your recent stay at our etablishment. We're delighted to hear that you enjoy your stay. It's wonderful to know that you enjoyed our excellent breakfast, and we're thrilled that it exceeded your expectations for a two-star hotel. We understand your note about the room size, we do have some bigger rooms for a future stay maybe. Thank you for your valuable input, and we look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit to Bordeaux. Marianne, Deputy manager

Great hotel, perfect for a weekend break. The staff were very pleasant and spoke good English and were available at all times. Yes the rooms are small but they are very clean and perfectly adequate for a 2 or 3 night stay where you are out and about exploring Bordeaux and they have what you need -a comfy bed and pillow, good hairdryer, toiletries etc. We thought it was a great location, only 10/15 min walk from the old town. I would 100% stay again and would recommend this hotel for a stay in Bordeaux.

Close to the main railways station (and not in front of it as other hotels) which makes it very practical.
You can reach the railway station in 5-7 min walk and the city centre in 10 min or less by tram (tram stop is just in front of the hotel).

The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The room was small but clean and well furnished.
The building is well isolated so you can’t hear the outside noise. And there an air conditioning!
The breakfast costs 12€ per person and is a good value for money.

All in all (having also traveled enough and being able to compare different facilities) I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Bordeaux and I’ll surely choose it if I come back.

The location was superb, so close to the main train station and about 20 min walk to the town, a nice walk along the river if you want a scenic view. The room was not ready on arrival, so they offered us a free drink while we waited. Nice! We had a twin room which was good in size and comfortable. The bathroom was big in size. No complimentary toiletries, but a big fixed bottle of hand wash and shower gel. The receptionists were all so friendly and helpful. 24h reception.
It would be really nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room, when they get a star rating. They deserve a 3 star rating!
The reception area has a work space in booths to appeal to working travellers.
The breakfast had a good choice of breads and pastries, nuts, seeds, cut mixed fruit with yogurt. You can boil your own eggs!
There is a small workout room.
At reception they have plenty of board games and few books.
Drinks are all chargeable.
The hotel has a modern contemporary style, minimal decor but pleasant.
Good place to stay!

This hotel is in a great location. It is walking distance from the train station. It is also walking distance to the old town and the river. The hotel has good facilities including a gym. The room is very small but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom is modern and functional. The staff were very friendly and always helpful with local advice etc. I would stay here again.

Newly renovated with nice design! At a very location 5 minutes from the city center and just outside is a Tram stop! Clean, with a comfortable bed also.
The only thing is that the room is a bit small. Good for one or two nights but very small if you have luggage and for more nights.

The hotel is pleasant, well located (1 tram station from the station), trams B and D stop right in front. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is good, varied and balanced. The only fault: the rooms are really too small.

Very cozy room, very well equipped, very good bedding. Small space around the bed but very suitable. Careful decoration and an invitation to eco-responsible driving (sorting waste, controlling the use of air conditioning...). A very good breakfast buffet, very well stocked, fresh and quality products, homemade yogurts every day! Relaxation area very well designed, games and books available... I recommend this Pension!

Had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Life! My partner and I went away for a weekend break and decided to stay at Hotel Life. As soon as you walk in the decor is so nice, super clean and such a great atmosphere. All the staff we encountered were so friendly and accommodating. As english speakers only knowing little french the staff were very patient and they all spoke great english anyway which helped with communication. The room was extremely clean and I loved the cosy vibes and layout of room. We had a huge tv, powerful shower, comfy bed, great lighting . Their attention to detail was incredible and definitely didn’t go unnoticed. Our room was cleaned every day we were there the cleaner was so friendly and greeted us every morning. The location was ideal so close to the centre and tram line also. Would definitely recommend!!

Great hotel in a good location. Tram stop just outside but can easily walk into the main areas with ease. Rooms are small but more than enough with everything you could need. Very modern and cosy. Shower was fantastic. Beds were really comfortable, slept really really well. Room lovely and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful and very welcoming and there was always someone around if you needed anything. The hotel has a very chilled out and relaxed vibe. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and food replenished quickly if it ran out. Honey was delicious! Loved all the plants around the hotel too. Small gym and outdoor seating area outside. Would definitely recommend
