A beautiful, French style boutique in the centre of Bordeaux. We found the location fantastic and walked everywhere, the majority of sights/shops places of interest are within a 10/15 minute walk to b&b. Leticia is very friendly and helpful, showing us lots of great places of interest and recommending good food places. The lady serving breakfast is also very friendly too. The rooms are beautifully decorated with quirky pictures, ornaments and sweet little balcony with French doors. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was modern with fantastic large shower. A good selection in mini bar and reasonably priced. Yes the spiral stairs are windy and go up to about 4 floors I think, but don't moan about the staircase, if you want a lift go to a large commercialised hotel instead! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The house is beautiful and tastefully decorated as well as the bedroom (with annex) which is very pretty. Comfortable bed (no more). Well equipped room, very pleasant lighting. Very very clean. Bathroom too could have one or two more towels and especially an indication on the shower gel would be a plus. Breakfast too fair. But the welcome is very professional and Laetitia seems to be constantly striving to improve further. A beautiful place.

Booked this hotel saw a few negative reviews. My experience. On arrival receptionist was excellent couldn't have been more helpful and funny to . Room wasn't the bigest bathroom small but its probably a listed building and can't do much with dimensions. Room was spotless. Views from our room amazing . The building itself is beautiful id love to no the history of this building fascinating. The hotel is perfect for walking round Bordeaux city old city i personally highly recommend this hotel . Breakfast is fine worth it set you up for the day . The hotel is on the edge of the old city part of the old city . Location is excellent.

As a matter of rule I try not to write negative reviews but feel on this occasion one is warranted. For us it seemed that we'd found a gem of a place.Tram from Airport to Meriadeck & a 5 min walk brought us to the Au Coeur de Bordeaux - Perfect... Location is good but forget the rest. The greeting was Ok but not particularly warm or welcoming. Anyone with mobility issues will struggle with the fairly steep winding staircase. Our room was on the 1st floor [front right] - No Hot water in the Shower, Towels were like crisps - thin & crinkly & radiator in the bedroom somehow managed to be slightly hot on 1 side & cold on the other, the bed very uncomfortable & only worsened by the Weekend Revellers leaving 'The Irish Bar' just round the corner from the Building... you've been warned.Breakfast was very poor - Limited Choices & Quality awful - It's almost like the management are trying to do everything on the Cheap. It's a real shame because it's such a lovely building, good location to walk to most landmarks and could be a cracker really.I'm really struggling to say anything positive about the place.

Spent four nights in this B&B as a base for travel and tastings throughout the region. The location is very good, walkable to many sights and excellent bars and restaurants in Bordeaux. Overall the stay was comfortable if you want to optimize your budget in the off season. The pictures on the website, however, make it look much better than it really is. We stayed in the Marquis de Terme. The room was decent sized but very shabby (see pics). Patches in the wall not painted over, stains on the headboard and pillowcases, cracked mirror frame, desk stained by the coffee machine. In addition there was only one small glass in the room, no face tissue, and just a very basic and watery liquid soap in the shower (no shampoo, conditioner, or body lotion). The wardrobe was odd; there was no way to hang a dress at all. Breakfast was an adequate continental, but the fruit plate every morning was a pretty still-life. Though the website boasts a wine cellar, the hosts give you no information about it, and are not around in the evening anyway even if you want a bottle. I probably wouldn’t stay here again but we slept fine and luckily brought good travel-sized toiletries with us.

We arrived for a 7 night stay in this lovely house to explore Bordeaux, in 37 degree sun ☀️ The host Letitia was very kind and gave us both a cold beer . She sat us down and explained everything about the best places to visit and how to get to them . Our room was quite spacious and the bed was comfortable. There was a coffee machine and mini bar and safe . A little balcony and a very large shower. The breakfast was included and was extremely nice. Lots of fruit and yogurt and lovely pastries. The air conditioning was good and quiet and the room was cleaned everyday. We prefer a house like this to a large hotel as it’s more homely and personal. Overall a great place to stay.

Our room was ok. nothing special, The worst part was the wifi was Awful.. would be in for a minute and then gone..unacceptable. Breakfast was very mediocre, the same thing every day, no different meats, or cheeses..boring. The manager was nice but didint make any great suggestions or help us at all. Location was good but I would never stay here again.

So sorry I have not reviewed this property sooner, and didn’t have chance to say goodbye to Dennis. We had the most amazing time at this beautiful hotel, fantastic location, very comfortable room and delicious breakfast. Dennis made some excellent restaurant recommendations, we particularly loved the one in Arcachon, well worth a visit on the train. Such an easy city to get around, especially the buses and trains. So thankyou so much Dennis, probably the only holiday we will get this year under the circumstances, but we will definitely return to Bordeaux in the future.

Enjoyed my stay ... lovely room. Conveniently located ... everything I wanted to see was within walking distance. Great breakfast ... and the staff were MORE than helpful when I had a slight travel glitch due to the Paris demonstrations.

Lovely hotel. Spacious rooms with air conditioning, delicious breakfast and gracious hosts. A great stay for a family of four, our rooms were much bigger then we thought they’d be and they were clean and comfortable. Great location a few minutes walk to all the best parts of Bordeaux

Bonsoir. Le bus 1+ direction Mergnac Aeroport. Arrêt Palais de Justice. Vous continuez sur le même trottoir pour 200m et vous tournez à droite après le pub irlandais.
