This budget hotel is well placed in the centre of Bordeaux for seeing all the main sights, shopping and eating. The room was clean and comfortable (we were at the back of the hotel on the courtyard) and quiet. It is a budget hotel so no frills, slightly dated decor and oddly you have to collect your key from another...

Around the corner from the Christmas market. Across the square from Galleries Lafayette and Europes second longest pedestrian shopping street Rue St Catherine, the Opera House, Grand Hotel de Bordeaux and designer shops on Cours George Clemenceau. Underground parking across the street for 10€ a night. Room for 3 ensuite for 90€ or 115€ with breakfast - would recommend without....

Although this hotel is situated in the centre of Bordeaux and fantastically close to the Christmas market, restaurants and wine bars, the rooms are very small and claustrophobic. They are basically a box with a double bed or the twin room we had featured one double and one single bed, table and chair with ensuite shower room toilet and basin....

First off, the location is great, since the hotel is at the heart of Bordeaux. Moreover, the rooms are quite cheap and are all equipped with free wifi. The staff is quite friendly, and the reception is located in another hotel, about 50 meters from the Hotel de L'Opera. The room itself was pretty basic, with a very, very small...

Great location and personnel was friendly. Room configuration was too small for a party of 3. No AC, a small fan that I needed to fix the housing, hairs stoked on the comforter, and a terrible smell coming from the bathroom. We only spent the nights there, since we spent more of the time touring areas near Bordeaux we did...

We, a family of 2 adults and 2 children stayed here for one night as other hotels were unfortunately been booked out. This was much cheaper than we usually pay, and I guess you get what you pay for. Reception is at a neighbouring hotel. We were on the 4th floor overlooking a small square recess to outside and other...

We booked rooms here because we were staying less than 24 hours in Bordeaux and wanted a cheap hotel near the opera. The location was excellent. After eventually checking in (the reception is on the same side of the road as the main opera door and was a little difficult to find)I decided to have a quick shower before meeting...

This hotel is very close to the centre of the old city of Bordeaux. It is opposite the Grand Theatre, a short walk to the Tourist Information Office, has a taxi rank immediately outside the front door, is only a short walk to the River Garonne and many other of the major sights. It is very clean and comfortable. It...

We were booked into a family room at 4 Soeurs; but somehow ended up with two rooms which wouldn't work for our kids. So ended up with family room at Hotel de L'Opera. It really is very basic - and irritatingly so, curtains that are too small so don't block out all of the light, scary view out of the...
