Hotel's Favourite
We loved the room, the furniture is nicer than most cheap hotels and we loved having a kitchen with a fridge to keep whatever we needed for breakfast. The parking was great, the hotel was very quiet as it is not directly on the main street but in a courtyard. Only downside was the kettle was unusable as the water tasted of plastic. We had to use a pan to boil water. But honestly, I would recommend this hotel and won't hesitate to use them again next time we go to Bordeaux.

Convenient hotel for stay in Bordeaux when coming over with car. Hotel is relatively close to the city center, but still in the area where it's comfortable to drive and has secure parking located inside the complex. Facilities and room matches what you would expect in the price range of the hotel and staff is very friendly and helpful.

Hotel very well located, bus 50m away, trams 500m near rue Sainte Catherine. Sound insulation between rooms and window insulation needs to be reviewed, breakfast price too expensive. As the room is equipped with a small kitchen, we bought something to prepare a coffee and croissants from the local baker. Bring earplugs to sleep without being woken up by the toilet flushing, people in the corridor and those who smoke in the courtyard while talking as if in broad daylight...

Arrived ok, no problem so far. Checked in, pay up front - ok, not unheard of…
Got to the room, the first thing we saw was a tatty bathroom door. It’s obviously been knocked, and the paintwork damaged, also there was water damage to the bottom. This was explained when we used the shower and the spray went over the floor and pooled below the door.
The promised bathtub was included, although no plug. Try having a bath without a plug!! The shower was a hand held spray hooked to the wall at waist height. Bizarre. The mirror was damaged at the bottom, the whole room was rather neglected, although it was clean, so these pieces of damage are obviously being ignored.
The bedroom had a comfortable bed, although the room was rather dark and poorly lit. Reading wasn’t easy.
There was one armchair, in a room for two people (?), a dining room chair and a wooden stool. Unusual mix. The armchair seat was heavily stained (?!). Not tempting to sit in! Quite why we had two fridges in the room was not apparent. Not many sockets were available, and we could only use the kettle by plugging it in under the television. Which was fine as we couldn’t use the television as the remote had no batteries. The hospitality tray was minimally stocked, and when we asked for milk we were told we could go and buy some as the hotel had no milk. Although there was some at breakfast the following day. No doubt we could have bought new batteries too. When paying €300 for two nights, surely a few tablespoons of milk is not a big ask? It was disappointing that the staff couldn’t be bothered to help with such a small request.
Breakfast was ok, no hot food available and it was self service. There was a button operated hot drinks machine, with milk available, mini croissants and pains au chocolat, artisan breads, muesli type mix, fruit, yoghurts, one variety of ham and some very bland cheese. The room felt a bit like a hostel dining room with a big animal mural on the wall and the constant drip from an air conditioning unit onto a towel on the floor. The tables and chairs were clean, but the staff - again - uninterested.
A good 20 min walk into Bordeaux, which is a beautiful city. Plenty of good places to eat and pleasant staff there. We will definitely come back to Bordeaux, but definitely not to the Victoria Garden!

There was 1 towel in a bin and 1 towel next to the sink which was used by somebody after going to the toilet - brown towel….. As soon as we noted this we told the front office, Juan Pablo (front Office) removed the towels immediately. We asked for compensation. They told us they found nothing and the manager told me they trust there cleaning en front office team. This is unacceptable and not how you handle this with your guests.
Using a towel after going to the toilet and then put it in the hotel room or nobody checked it?? removing the towel and then telling me it wasn’t there.
Don’t go to this hotel!

Dear Sir, I will tell you exactly the same thing we already told you. You actually informed us that you found a dirty towels only on Sunday afternoon when you checked-in on Saturday. We were surprised of this situation because it never happened before. If I understand well your explanation was not clear because first of all, you informed us on Sunday that the dirty towels were on the shower, my colleagues cheked after you left and saw the towel in the trash. Then you changed your speech and said that the towel were actually on the trash. I apologize but your room was verified by the housekeeper manager and nothing strange was found. However, as we are a respectfull company and the satisfaction of our guest is our priority, we were pleased to offer you a discount for your next stay with us. Like that you could be able to see again that we care about our guest and offer accomodations perfectly clean. Unfortunatly you refused our offer. I wish you a lovely day ! Best regards - Michel Front desk manager

The hotel does not meet the expectations raised by the review and application to booking.com. At an overnight price of just under 150 euros incl. Breakfast and supposed tourist tax per night we expected (due to the photos and the somewhat remote location) already a little more feel-good atmosphere and care in the room. Especially the bathroom was abundantly "rocked down" (mold in the window loaf, broken door). After all: The quality of the bed was acceptable. And the breakfast was quite impressive.
Pretty much everything there, from jam to cheese (apart from the usual pressed sausage). Overall verdict nevertheless: just enough.

Complete apartment with a good location and close access to bus and tram. The apartment is very new with everything you need, comfortable bed, cleanliness and good service at reception. Importantly, you can leave your suitcases at reception before check-in time and on the day of departure after check-out.

No soundproofing (we could hear conversations next door as well as outside noises), the bedding was comfortable and clean but there were hairs on the bath sheets. The cleanliness of the shower needs to be reviewed (stains and hairs) as well as the mirror (mold inside the mirror, damage). The products made available were top notch and the location was a little out of the way but it was ok because it was close to public transport point +.
Quantitative breakfast but we expected more fresh and/or local products, too bad.
The experience was therefore correct but could greatly be improved.

Nice place in a convenient location quite close to main attractions and city center.
The room was spatious for 4 people family and clean enough.
The bathroom had poor consumables (soap etc.) and the breakfast was poor in choices (no egg !).
A problem with the how water was rather bad lack of the moment.
The personnel was kind and helpful.
I would go again,
Small and cheap improvements can enhance its value for money.

We stayed in this hotel as a company of friends (ladies) during our stay in Bordeaux. It offers a nice opportunity to have a homelike atmosphere with a fully equipped kitchen where we could cook our dinner/drink tea. The reception managers were welcome, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served with a variety of tasty meals (meat, cheese, bread, buns, pastry, pancakes, fruit, juices, coffee, tea, etc.) but there were no vegetables which was a bit frustrating. Good location of the hotel, just 15 minutes from the city centre and 20 minutes to the central railway station. With a generally comfortable stay, the hotel needs renovation like replacing old shabby furniture or making soundproof windows. We are, anyway, grateful for a comfortable stay and friendly atmosphere in this hotel.
