Detailed Reviews

Very nice newly renovated hotel. Rooms were very pretty, with new air conditioner. The bed was comfortable, with two pillows. Another nice thing was that in each room there is a Nespresso machine with coffee capsules!
The only thing is that it's a bit far from the city centre but it's near the airport and the Lac. The other thing is that because of the Lac and its mosquitos you can't open the window.
And another thing was that the soundproofing could be better as you can hear the corridor and the surrounding rooms.

We stayed here for one night during the European Championships 2016 when Ireland played Belgium. The hotel is basic, the rooms are clean enough though dull and small. The staff were very pleasant and we did not sample any food or the bar. It is located in what is like a retail park. It was handy for us as it was very close to the football stadium but other than that, I wouldn't stay there again.

We travelled from Paris to Toulouse with a stop over in Bordeux and this Hotel was in a perfect location! So easy to access the main roads.
The hotel it self was nice too. Comfy beds and clean rooms. The hotel has its own restaurant downstairs - very average food. But after a long drive it was enough.
There is free wifi around the whole hotel which was great.
The staff were very nice and efficient.

Stayed here for a weekend to take in the rugby, and explore Bordeaux.
It was perfect for us - 5 min walk to the stadium, 20 mins by the nearby tram to the centre of Bordeaux.
The rooms were just the right size, with everything that was required.
Comfy beds, bath & shower.

We stayed there one night. Me my two sons and my little dog. A really nice and clean hotel with a restaurant and a big parking. The room was clean also the beds and the bathroom. In the morning we had a really good breakfast with fresh bread, butter, croissants, coffee and many more. The two receptionist (night and morning) very polite and smiling ready to help in any way. The hotel is some minutes away from the city and in the middle of many restaurants. The prices excellent and the animals are accepted. So 5☆ from me. Keep up the good work!!!

We were travelling through France and stayed here for one night. A smart looking hotel, nicely furnished with very pleasant and helpful staff. The bedrooms were well equipped with coffe and tea making facilities which is always nice to have. A very good breakfast with a good choice. Very close to major routes.

We chose the Lac area as we wanted to explore Bordeaux but not drive into the centre. Our plan was to get to the hotel around 10.30, park there and use the tram into the centre for the day.
Arrived as planned and lovely young lady noted our arrival and guided us to the trams.
She also spoke very good English.
Back to the hotel around 5 and booked in via I presume the manager who spoke very fast French. We had booked online a few days before so no problems there. We had a twin bedded room but the rooms are small and so one of the beds is hard up against two walls and the other bed is tight against the other side so the only way to actually get into one of the beds is to crawl in from the foot of the bed or clamber over your partner.
Exhausted from all the walking round Bordeaux we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. Big mistake. Took a table on the terrace and asked the fairly clueless waitress for drinks. For me a large glass of draught Kronenbourg. No can't do that as the pression machine has broken. So offered a smaller bottle of much more expensive 1664.
Waitress comes to take the order for our meal. I ask what the dish of the day is. There isn't one. Food ordered. Starters delivered. I am still eating my starter when the mains arrive. So my wife's is placed in front of her and mine taken back to the kitchen. When I have finished my starter my mine returns - much cooler than when it left. Puds chosen and delivered. Wife's Lemon meringue tart has sloppy runny meringue that obviously has not been whipped properly as it slides of the tart. My Creme Brulée is runny in the middle and the sugar has not been flamed enough so it is all grainy.
I didn't expect haute cuisine but did expect better than they managed.
We looked in to see what the breakfast set up looked like in the morning but most of the offerings were either nearly all gone or never existed. Not worth 90 cents let alone €9 each so we did not embibe.
The area has 5 or 6 of the other hotel chains and is handy for either the airport of for the plan we had to explore but if we return to do it again it will be to one of the competitors nearby.
Very sad as it started so well with the initial welcome.

We stayed 1 nights with 2 young children (7&12) and booked for quadruple room. The room has 2 floor and the children love the room because they slept on the second floor.
The room was clean and the bathroom has bath up.
It's located near the tram station (10 minutes walk) and we can reach the town centre in 15 minutes by tram.
Breakfast is not included (€8 per person) but free for the children.
The staff were friendly, can speak english and very informative.
The hotel also has restaurants.

We were hesitant in booking this hotel based on reviews we read. However we were pleasantly surprised by the small but smart set up of the room. The two children slept up on the mezzanine floor and had their own television which they appreciated. The room was clean, quiet and suited our needs perfectly. Service from staff was great and they spoke reasonable English for us to communicate with them. The restaurant was value for money. Interhotel is close to a great shopping centre as well!

"The room was too small for two people, with a double bed pushed up against one wall and the bathroom although good was a little dated.. We stayed on night and it was OK. The location and everything else was very good."Read full review
