We (4 adults, 4 children aged 1-6) had a great time at Coat Aillis. The owners were friendly and helpful- aided us with a punctured tyre, posted our forgotten laundry 😳 back and were generally about if we needed them. The accommodation was clean and suited our needs well. We particularly enjoyed the ambience of the place- we could quite... More

Just back from a fabulous 2 week holiday, staying in Maison principale, with other family staying in La Forge. The house was quirky and unusual but very clean and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed....apart from a kettle!! The atmosphere was relaxed and with so much garden and the pool some days we didn't leave to go out until... More

We have just returned from Coat Aillis after a super fun week. The owners are so laid back, just as well as we were a little rowdy on occasions !. The gites are well appointed that nobody heard us. We enjoyed some fun in the party barn, playing cd`s dancing and playing ping pong, great pool, lovely spacious gardens and... More

Pauline and Simon so helpful and friendly. The gite itself very comfortable with good beds and facilities. Place had a... More

Last night's Jazz Fest was great fun - excellent musicianship, convivial atmosphere and great grub made it a really special evening. Lovely curries (thanks Tobias) were accompanied by warm hospitality and great sounds! Many thanks to Simon, Paulien and family....we'll be back.

This place is a must for those wishing to take a break away from the city's hustle and bustle. The absolute calmness and tranquillity of Coat Aillis' orchards at this time of year is second to none. Since then, we have returned every year as we just didn't want to... More
