We stayed here on a Saturday night early in September as a stop over for our ferry the next day. We stayed here 2 years ago on a similar journey and were then quite impressed. On arrival we were told that the restaurant was fully booked, the receptionist seemed quite surprised that we had not thought to book on reserving our...

We stayed one night on our way back to the ferry port and were very impressed. We received a very warm welcome and were shown to our room which was well decorated and comfortable, with a small but modern and well designed bathroom with a wonderful shower. The dinner and breakfast were delicious, well presented and reasonably priced. We'll certainly...

Really comfortable room. We arrived very late, but there was a note for us telling us how and where to find our room. We booked online without any problems, and had no difficulty finding the hotel, even though we arrived close to midnight. The location is conveniently close to the main route in/out of St Malo, and close to La...

We arrived at the hotel at very short notice, having escaped from some exceedingly unsuitable accomodation at Carnac. A 'phone call on the morning of our arrival secured us a charming twin room overlooking the courtyard. We had stayed there before, so we knew about the siting (on a retail park), but as soon as you enter the courtyard, all...

This is our third visit to this nice little hotel, the two prior being late arrivals so just bed and breakfast, but this time we arrived mid afternoon so we're able to have a nice drink on the patio then went into the super little restaurant where we had an excellent meal served by two very pleasant young ladies, all...

After reading the reviiews of this hotel my wife and me stayed for a night in order to catch a ferry the following morning. We were initially dismayed to find that it is indeed situated in a massive commercial estate (just like a budget hotel)but cheered up once inside the gates. The meals were very good and reasonably priced and the waitresses...

We were dismayed to drive through a sea of big box mall stores on the way to this hotel, but the minute we were inside he walls, we were in a gracious world of superb dining and above-average comfort. We highly recommend this find. It is so lovely to have superb food in a spot where you can then retire...

The hotel is clean and comfortable, well situated for access to the ferry port, and has adequate off-street parking. The restaurant is superb - local food prepared and presented exceptionally well, at a fair price. (The hotel is a Logis de France)

As always completely satisfied. This is the fifth time we have stayed here. So convenient for the ferry - no matter it is in the middle of a shopping area - it's quiet, comfortable and very clean. The restaurant is fantastic - just check when you book your room whether it's open and book a table then as it's very...

Looking for a place to stay the night before the ferry we chose La Grassinais based on the photographs, the proximity to the port and the private parking. However what the photographs do not show is that it is in the middle of a trading estate surrounded by shopping centres and showrooms and a drive or expensive taxi ride away from...

“Whilst this is not a luxurious hotel, all the rooms are well insulated from traffic noise (and the hotel is close by busy roads). But, it is exceptionally clean, and quite comfortable. Windows are fitted with safety catches, and TV etc. is supplied. The bathrooms are small, but well enough appointed. They welcome dogs and obviously young children as there are cots available. It is exceptionally convenient for the ferry port. There is ample parking.”
