If location is a must, then Hotel Central is a good budget option. And the staff was very friendly. But the hotel is extremely worn out, an even had an old fashioned telephone in the lounge. Breakfast was quite expensive, but ok - not to forget unlimited amount of coffee, which was a huge plus!

We stayed at the Hotel Central while traveling through the lovely town of Beaune on our way to the south of France. Since we were there in the heart of wine country to explore the winerys and vineyards, we did not spend a great deal of time in our room but our room was exceptionally clean. the bathroom had been...

From the inernet the hotel look like a beautiful buiding from a French film, you visualise clean rooms, crispy bed linen, friendly personnel... I have to say my room was OK clean but when opening the door to the corridor, the smell was definitely not clean. The decoration of the rooms as well as the restaurant, cooridors and salon is...

Stayed as part of a trip around the region. The location is perfect and boy do they trade on it. The staff is not that helpful, my room was dingy, it was next to a smelly and dusty staircase etc. Would suggest going 100 meters or so out and choose one of the many Accor hotels for similar money. Not...

Right in the heart of the lovely town of Beaune, this hotel is nothing if not convenient. Rooms are ok, no more than that, and would benefit from air conditioning in the hottest months. TV worked & wi-fi was intermittent. For 10€ breakfast was very basic, alternatives could be found a short walk away .

My husband & I were making our way back to Paris & stopped in Beaune for a last minute overnight stay - I wish he'd listened to me & let me search online a little longer....he just wanted a great location, inexpensive, & simple, clean double. Well....we ended up at Hotel Central. Yes, v convenient location to walk everywhere, but...

The hotel was ok, Good beds and friendly people. I just hate blankets and a shower without a curtain. And unfortunately very noisy, ask for a room in the back. We did not have breakfast, So can not judge. Good parking service.

Good location for an overnight stop off on the way to another destination, ours this time was skiing. Friendly and helpful staff but rooms and whole hotel could do with a total overhaul. Such a shame as it's a great spot to be able to sample all the great restaurants of this pretty place.

Always stop off in this utterly charming town, all to do with wine, & very atmospheric! This hotel, as its name suggests is right in the heart of the town & as such is convenient for all restaurants & attractions. It's fine, comfortable enough, everything worked, & breakfast was more than adequate. This hotel is very unspectacular, with no pretentions,...

The location is great - right around the corner from the Hotel Dieu & plenty of restaurants & retail opportunities. The associated restaurant (Cheval Blanc) serves standard Bourgogne fare at reasonable prices. The service was very friendly, which I appreciated as we were traveling with our 2-year old son. The also gave us a discount on the Family Room, when...
