A 12th century intact Abbaye brilliantly converted into a boutique hotel , with great service, breakfast and rooms. It is conveniently located in the heart of Beaune, a wonderfully pretty medevial town with great architecture and great restaurants. Right from the arrival where our Manager was both baggage lifter and car valet we were wonderfully looked after including bookings of...

Elegant old abbaye renovated into perfection, in the absolute center of Beaune. Cheerful and attentive service, cosy lobby/restaurant area where you can dine under the gothic arches. Some rooms are located at the third floor under the roof and require a lot of staircase walking as there are no elevator; consult with the reception when making the reservation.

Wonderful stay in this 13th century hotel. The staff was superb. The lobby and restaurant is in the ancient wine cellar - absolutely spectacular. The rooms have all the modern conveniences yet with the old country ambience. They are very clean and well kept up. We spent two nights at the Abbaye de Maizieres.

Perfectly located in the town centre, this small hotel started life as a 12th century Abbey, as reflected by the stunning entrance/ dining room. Small but comfortable 3rd floor duplex rooms enjoy great views over Beaune rooftops. Reception staff amongst the friendliest and most efficient that we have ever encountered. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Please note that...

We stayed here for one night on the way back from the Alps. It's quite difficult to find but we found it more quickly than our Garmin! What a wonderful entrance! Through the glass doors under an arch and down into a large vaulted room centuries old. Reception rushed over to help with our luggage and took us up the...

This is a nice enough hotel in the center of Beaune within an easy walk of all the best restaurants and other attractions. The folks at the desk were very friendly and helpful. I do have a couple of concerns, though. As the other reviews noted, in order to get to the rooms on the upper floors, the steps are...

Beautiful, old and centrally located hotel; we stayed one night in a large and modernized room on the 1st (European) floor. We had very little luggage and the lack of elevator was therefore not a problem. The bathroom was modern and clean (bathtub/shower very narrow space) and the bed was comfortable. We ate both dinner and breakfast in the hotel...

We stayed here on our trip around France. We stayed in a room on the third floor and there are quite a bit of stairs. The room and bathroom was lovely! We also had dinner here and it was delicious. I would recommend this hotel.

I spent 2 nights in this lovely hotel. I had a room on the top floor (Les Greves room) which had the most incredible view over ancient roofs - I loved gazing out that window. The bathroom was very swish and the shower excellent. The bed? The most comfortable I slept in during my 3 week soujourn. Yes, there were...

We stayed here twice in October and our way back in November. The lobby is absolutely stunning! Our room was on the top floor, so we had a steep walk up. It is an old monastery and has no lift. But the hotel staff is very helpful and carries your bags upstairs. Our was not to big, but equipped very...
