We stayed two nights in this charming hotel, full of character with its 15th-century wood beams. The room was simple, yet comfortable even for four people, very quiet and clean, and with a view of the castle, and air conditioning. A rare value at that price. The owners were truly nice, always ready to help, and to share their knowledge...

The hosts made this a very special stop. They were always available, extremely friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel at home. The location could not have been more perfect -- the pedestrain shopping streets, restaurants, chateaux, and Da Vinci museaum were within easy walking distance. They also provided free internet use which made it easy to check in on...

Just came back from the trip to France. Stayed 2 nights in Le Blason. We really liked it. Good price. Good location. No frills but you do not stay in the room anyway. Decent breakfast for 6.50 euro extra. Very friendly and helpful owners.

This hotel is very charming in a quiet part of town. The owner is very helpful and cheerful. He also offers free internet service, which was really nice. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small but clean. It is a great value. I would definitely recommend visiting Amboise and staying at Le Blason.

We stayed at Le Blason for about 4 days in March and used it as a base camp for exploring the Loire valley. The location within the town of Amboise was great. Walking distance from everything. The building itself was interesting due to it's age and construction. There are big, exposed, timbers every where, and it's got a very Old...

OK hotel. Bathroom very small. Close to downtown attractions. However I would stay somewhere else in the future.

Historic building with plenty of personality. Top floor looks like its ready to fall over but was recently structurally restored per historic building mandates. Not a 4 star but is clean and is nicely maintained , accomodating to groups and only 2 or 3 blocks to the castle. Only drawback -- No elevator. Interesting compartmentalized bathrooms. Highly recommend.
