In a nice little typical french village (nearby the world famous chateaux de Loire) there is this friendly "auberge". With well maintained rooms, some all new , some a bit older. The staff is setup to satisfy the guests with a smile and the restaurant serves a good meal, not too spohisticated but down to earth good, no complaints. The...

Overnight stop at this gem of a hotel - wish it had been longer. The hotel is situated in the middle of the town next to one of the main squares with shops and pavement cafes etc, but we did not suffer from any noise until the refuse was collected at 5 am! (but this is not the hotel's fault)....

We stayed for two nights visiting het Loire region. Our (superior) room was fantastic: supersilent aircon, double vanities bathroom with separate toilet, most excellent beds. Our car could be parked on the courtyard (closed an night). The staff was very very friendly and welcoming. Defenitely a place to return to, worth every penny.

Used this place as a stopover en route to the Lot area. We stayed in room 40, a superior double on the 3rd floor (no lift as far as I could see) The room had air conditioning, a separate loo and bathroom - quite poor water pressure, but clean and functional. Bed was comfortable, curtains did not exactly block out...

We were very lucky to get one of the last bedrooms, the last parking space in the courtyard and the last table in the excellent restaurant. Our room and the shower was on the small side but as we were only staying one night it was perfectly fine and the decor and facilities were all that was needed. We were...

We stayed here one night and had a top floor room in the annexe. the room was large and spacious and had old wooden beams in the middle of the room. Maybe a problem if you are particularly tall. The hotel is in a good location in the centre of the town and also has parking in the courtyard. We...

L'Ecu is centrally located but may take a little finding with one way streets. Once there it looks very nice with a parking area behind the hotel. The rooms are somewhat ordinary and old fashioned but the beds are fine. Bathrooms are somewhat old fashioned with hand showers one has to fix to the wall. There is air conditioning. There...

The hotel is situated in the heart of the town, close to restaurants and points of interest. Our room was perfect, clean, quiet and with air conditioning that actually worked. There was no sounds from adjoining rooms. The pool and garden was a great place to relax. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.
