Stayed here for 2 nights for a birthday weekend from London. Laurent was a wonderful host, open, genuinely warm, friendly and so helpful. He is one of the nicest host we have ever had at a hotel/B and B. The food is great (we ate breakfast and dinner there both days) as the chef makes fantastic bread. It is very...

Our family of 4 spent 3 nights here during a Fall break to tour the area chateaux. We booked 2 rooms. One room had 2 twin beds for the kids and one had a king+ extra bed for the adults. Check-in was no problem and we were quickly shown to our rooms and helped with luggage. Rooms were lovely, clean...

My friend and I have traveled to France four times in the last six years, and we have stayed at La Roseraie twice (in 2002 and 2007). We returned there specifically this year because we love the inn, and the wonderful innkeepers, Laurent and Sophie Fiorito! They are the most welcoming, warm and charming innkeepers we have ever met in...

Originally, we were scheduled for a 2-night stay at La Roseraie, drive to Tours, train back to Paris, overnight and fly home the next day.... but then the transpo strike occurred. Laurent & Sophie could not have been more concerned. From helping us develop an alternative plan to making numerous phone calls on our behalf, Laurent made sure that the...

Laurent and Sophie are wonderful hosts. Laurent was a full of energy and always had a smile and a cheery comment. We stayed 5 nights and ate dinner 3 times in the restaurant. The food was excellent and portions were surprisingly substantial. The local wines were a good value and representative of the area. The room was quite spacious and...

The owners, Sophie and Laurent were great. The evening meal is the dining room was such a treat- they even made me a special vegetarian dinner. The hotel itself is so charming - loved the pool and the fact that its walking distance to the chateau. We went with our teenage son and they gave us two adjoining rooms with...

Cozy hotel conveniently situated next to the beautiful Chateau de Chenonceau . The city can be a base to travel to towns close by such as Amboise. We drove from Paris and made a stop at Chambord before arriving at Chenonceaux early afternoon. The room was not fully ready yet but Sabrina quickly made the arrangement to have it equipped....

We visited the hotel during the Fall. Although we did not get to visit the castle at night (which you can only do in Summer time) we had a great couple of days in a quiet and romantic atmosphere. People at the hotel (from the manager to the cleaning crew) were extremely nice. The room was on the second level...

Was pleasantly surprised by the calibre of the dinner - traditional items were great but some creative dishes like gizzards on salad- not only edible but tender and tasty - nice outdoor dining area as well . Best food in town ,as we unfortunately found out when eating elsewhere. I live with a chef so hard to please. Hotel quaint...
