I have stayed at the Logis du Bief several times in recent years, most recently in October 2013. Alas, Jean-Claude and Moha, who are the most gracious and adorable hosts one could ask for, are no longer in Loches at the Logis, but have bought a property near Chinon, at the Clos Chavigny which looks perfectly wonderful. This review will...

This is a lovely place to stay and we were made very welcome by Moha and Jean Claude. The room is well equipped and furnished exactly as you would hope for the period and style of the house. The hosts helped with suggestions about the local attractions (which are many) and also with dining, even phoning for reservations. The breakfasts...

Bonjour à tous les deux Sometimes I would like to reply in French just to better express the pleasure I have had to meet you and also to better reply to your Trip advisor review. We have had this year very few New Zealanders but just to joke I would say we have got the best "quality" with you. I hope...

My husband and I spent two nights here in early September as our base to visit some of the chateaus in the Loire valley. Our host, Jean Claude, was extremely personable upon our arrival, asking us about ourselves and our trip, thus far, and was so interested in where we were going next. The B & B is just lovely,...

Jean Claude and Moha, our apologies for such a late review!!! We stayed in the self catered gite in October 2012 and were absolutely delighted with the incredible kindness of both Jean Claude and Moha, the hosts. We arrived late in the afternoon, totally stressed and unimpressed with the experience of driving a LHD rental car for the first time...

We have just spent a week in the gite and everything was fabulous. Clean, quiet and with delightful hosts from whom nothing was too much trouble. A few minutes walk takes you to the heart of the town for bread, a drink or a meal while leaving the car in a secure, close by, car park. When Jean-Claude and Moha...

My husband and I started our holiday in France at Logis du Bief, and it was absolutely the best start to any vacation. The hosts, Jean-Claude and Moha were welcoming and went out of their way to help us find running routes, restaurants and off the beaten-path sites to visit. Their B&B is wonderfully situated in the small medieval city...

“Our personal desires were for a more comfortable seating area. While the formal sitting area in the gite fit the design of the room perfectly, after a long day of walking/touring a soft place to sit and put feet up would have been welcome. All other features were perfectly provided.”
