The man in the tourist office pointed us in the direction of the Jackotel and we found it easily. Location was great, very quiet and still central and lady and gentleman we met were more than friendly and helpful.

This family-run hotel is tucked away in a quiet courtyard, only a few minutes walk from the city centre. A nice alternative to the big chain hotels, available at a reasonable price. The decor is a liitle dated but the rooms are large, and there's a good breakfast. If you wonder why the lobby is decorated with parrots - 'Jack'... More

It is almost worth staying here for the free parking alone. It is so close to the city centre that this facility is a very very major benefit. Only problem is that the Small Car Park can get crowded and certainly it can be difficult maneuvering your car out in the morning when you are leaving. The staff are very... More

The location of this hotel was perfect. It was a one night stop over for us on our long drive back from Spain -we arrived late needing to go out and eat and we wanted a look round the centre of town. This hotel is minutes from the cathedral on foot and is in the old part of town which... More

Stayed on 21st and 22nd July, just what we needed, had a family room with 2 double beds and a toilet and bath/shower. Lovely breakfast room and a fantastic breakfast for 7 Euros. Small car park that we were lucky enough to get in. Staff don't speak English, but why should they!, we are in France after all!, I spoke... More

It could be beautiful but sadly it isn't. Well, not yet. Our room was stark, it looked as though it had been recently painted but no fixtures or fittings on walls or in the bathroom. The carpet was very dirty, I didn't want to walk on it in bare feet.. The staff were welcoming and helpful though and the breakfast... More

This is a two star hotel. It is within easy walking distance to the town centre. It is extremely good value. The rooms are quite comfortable and clean. The offer breakfast for an extra cost of 7 Euro. The breakfast is bread, croissant and cereal. There is some parking onsite. Reception staff are very helpful.

Rather charming hotel. Yes it is dated, nobody had hoovered under my bed and the plugholes and light switches needed a good clean but it's brilliantly located in a very peaceful area with the Loire at the bottom of the street and the city centre 5 minutes away on foot. I was made to feel welcome when I arrived and... More

The location of this hotel is wonderful, just by the old city centre in a quiet square. The off street parking was a bonus too. The cathedral and a wide variety of restaurants are a short walk away. We were greeted by friendly staff on reception who were very helpful. Unfortunately the hotel has a tired and rather dated feel... More
