Stayed at this hotel for a stop-over on the way to Spain. Very nice hotel, friendly staff. Location is ideal, midtown is close enough to walk in 10 minutes, but far enough to have peace and quiet. I have only one recomendation for the management. It was warm, and there was a blanket in a cover on the bed without...

We stayed for four nights and had a quiet room in the main hotel. The room was modern with french TV and an excellent shower. The breakfast was large with a good selection, by french standards. The owners were most helpful. There is ample parking in the hotel courtyard however it is a short walk over the river to the...

The Castel Fleuri is a small beautifully appointed hotel a few short steps, along the Loire River, from downtown Tours. The hotel offers free parking, excellent spacious rooms, beautiful modern bathrooms, free WiFi and ample electric outlets. The best part of this hotel is its wonderful owners. I arrived frazzled by my non-functioning credit cards and difficult to reach US...

Although we knew we were booking a budget hotel, the large two stars painted on the wall made me wonder if we had made the right choice. However, our stay was excellent in almost every respect. The location is ideal in a quiet street next to the bridge over the Loire. a 10 min pleasant walk puts you right in...

For a budget hotel, it was way above average. Owners Pascal and Zoya were extremely welcoming and helpful all the time we were there. The hotel is clean and most of it now is renovated, Our bedroom on the first floor was ample and very quiet and the bathroom was new, very well appointed. Continental breakfast (extra) was good and...

We stayed here one night as a stopover hotel on our way to the south. The hotel was easy to find and had a spacious parking. When we arrived at the hotel, we got a warm welcome from the hostess, who gave us immediately a feeling of 'coming home'. We got a room upstairs , which the hostess told us...

Tours is a good stopping point on the way down to the southwest of France and we stayed at this hotel a few years ago. Since then the hotel has changed hands and been somewhat improved. The exterior still looks tired and is very unprepossessing. The young couple who have taken it over are helpful and friendly and the bedrooms...

Honestly, we did not expect much from the Castel Fleuri and from that perspective it served our purpose very well. Location on the other side of the Loire from the town center was perfect for arriving and exploring the Loire Valley castles with own car. The parking is safe and there's plenty of room on the enclosed yard. The hotel...

Stayed here one night. The room was on the ground floor and had a double bed and a bunk bed, also a comfy chair and table and 2 chairs too. The only fault was the shower which wouldn't stay on the wall and had to be held by hand. Large car park for several cars. Brilliant breakfast and very friendly...

This hotel is well placed for sightseeing Tours Centre and surrounding area. Within easy walking distance of the centre. The living/sleeping area was nice and modern, however the bathroom was looking very worn and old fashioned. Breakfast was available at an extra cost but worth it. The only down side was there was no tea and coffee facility in the...
