Comfortable rooms, good shower, good nights sleep, good breakfast. Very near to the railway station and restaurants & bars in the town centre. A group of 7 of us stayed here are at the beginning and end of a cycling holiday in the Loire Region. No complaints.

My family and I stayed in 3 of the hotel's rooms for one night only in August. Mine and my partner's room was a superior, located at the front of the hotel with 2 little balconies. The room was big with an enormous bed and lovely big bathroom. The rooms retained the charm of the art deco style with modern... More

The hotel is very centrally located: 1 minute walk from the train station and 4 walking distance from one of Tours' main street, Rue National. The hotel is very clean, the room are large enough for 2 adults and 1 baby. I'ts an old hotel, which seems to be recently refurbished, but with the intersting style of maintaining and old... More

This turned out way better than expected. The rooms were huge, décor fine and very clean. If you prefer old buildings with high ceilings and character then this is perfect hotel. Location literally couldn't more central and ideal for brasseries on the street serving locals and tourists alike. Loved it.

family room was excellent, close to restaurants and only a short walk to main old town. Secure parking. Stayed twice in last month, would use again. Used as a half way point to and from Bordeaux for our main holiday.

Grand Hotel, is certainly very big, immediately making it quite impersonal. Building and rooms are quite old, and don't look fresh and clean. Rather shabby. Had a good night of sleep in the triple room but I've understood the double room is really no better than an Ibs Budget hotel

Great location. Affordable cheese, wine, and bread right next to the hotel in a grocery. Was able to get my 6:30 AM train without having to worry about being late. No issues with the staff and they did a great job cleaning the room. Also friendly to tourists who can't speak French. Doesn't hurt to try!

We stayed in this hotel on our return trip from spain back home to Amsterdam. The family room is spacious, clean, recently renovated but still breeds the sphere of good old times. When Travelling was stil a more adventurous.

The hotel was a grand hotel next to the grand railway station. It has lost some stars and most glamour since then. It is not a big tourist hotel. The rooms have been redecorated recently in a 30.s style. Our superior room was large with very good bathroom. Bed comfortacble. The rection was good and arrival and departure was efficient.... We stayed last year in a totally renovated room that was perfect! This year we were assigned an old room which was "very old". They immediately switched us across the hallway to a larger room, which was nice but not like the one we had last year! We stayed three nights as Tours is a magnificent city. Could have stayed...
