After a long days drive, getting to this hotel was easy, although due to having a very large 4WD truck, parking was a performance. However, the owners were very helpful, moving cars about to help us get it into the private courtyard. The rooms were simple, but very clean, bathroom facilities were excellent. It's a pleasant stroll along to the...

I spent two nights at the Hotel du Manoir over Easter weekend. Tours is a great central location if visiting the Chateauxs in the area. Hotel was clean, comfortable and rooms were bigger than what I had in Paris. Breakfast at 7-8 E was ok. Hotel was about a 20 minute walk from the historic section of the city and...

Nice hotel, nice breakfast, nice owners. The rooms are spacious but not trendy. Everything is clean and working. The hotel is located in a rather ugly neighbourhood and not really central, but near the cathedral and train station (5 minute walk). The chocolat is by no means the best I ever had, it's just a normal supermarket mix. A fair...

This charming boutique hotel has been lovingly updated since Simone and her husband bought it around 4 years ago. My husband and I first stayed here in September 2002 and have spent a total of three weeks at le Manoir on three separate trips to France. The last time was 7 days in September and Hotel du Manoir just keeps...

We are a middle aged couple from Australia and it was our first visit to France. In July/August we spent a month travelling in the Loir, Brittany and Paris staying in some very interesting Hotels. However we found the Hotel Du Manoir in Tours to be excellent and the best during our 5 day stay. The Room we had had...

Lovely little hotel located 5 mins walk away from the train station and the old town. Our room was quite small with sloping roofs. Rooms are simple but clean. For the price, it was a very nice stay.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying here. We were very surprised how nice it was since we only paid 56 Euros/night. We did buy breakfast, which was very good. Tours was a great home base for visiting the magnificent chateaux.

Myself and two travelling companions shared a triple room here for a three day stopover in Tours. I had read about the hotel in a guidebook; but previous experience had inured me to effusive guidebook praise. The Hotel du Manoir however is just really good value. It is very well situated, a short walk from the centre, and there is...

I stayed two days at the Hotel Manoir which is no more than a ten minute walk from the train station. If you are unfamilar with which direction, the tourism office is practially visible from the rail station and by the time you get there, you will be half way to the hotel. The courtyard entrance is off of the...
