We stayed at this hotel for a single night whilst returning from a Shearings holiday in Italy on 7th / 8th April. I'd had some poor experiences with Mercure before, but had hoped that things may have improved - WRONG ! Firstly - the good points, the room was comfotable, and quiet, now the bad points - the customer service...

On a Shearings holiday we stayed overnight on the way back from Italy. 3 points. 1.We were in room 213 right next to reception. It was very noisy until at least 12.00am despite my husband going out twice to close the double doors which then banged every time someone walked through them 2. The heating vent was noisy all night and...

We were told before booking, by the hotel, that they were located conveniently close to the town centre, which was important to us for this trip. This turned out to be completely untrue, if you’re staying here you either need a bus, taxi or car to get into Reims. But I wouldn’t recommend taking a taxi that they call for...

My wife and I stayed here on the first night of a Leger Holidays Christmas-New Year tour. It is comfortable enough and quite acceptable for an overnight stay. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the heating, as with all winter hotels, too much. Breakfast was good, nourishing and extensive. Overall, quite good.

I stayed here at the end of a tour with Shearings, and this hotel was a big let down compared to the rest of the tour (one excellent Novotel was the other hotel used in France on the outbound leg of the trip. Firstly the positives: the receptionist was friendly and the breakfast was good and plentiful even for a...

Hotel is good, welcoming, modern, clean and rooms are good size. The breakfast buffet has a wide selection of good food with plenty of "healthy" options. The restaurant is not outstanding and over priced. £22 for a reasonable steak main course is excessive!

Stay was for 1 night only so we were not able to use much of the facilities. Friendly staff, rooms clean and comfortable, our evening meal was good. This is more of a business hotel and therefore a number of business groups in the restaurant although this was not a problem to us. Easy access into Reims although you would...

First the good things: good size room, free parking, pleasant receptionist. The problem was that we arrived on a Sunday evening, when all the restaurants in Reims were closed. So we ate in the hotel restaurant, which was frankly a disaster. It started badly when the two of us wanted to sit at a table for four (the restaurant was...
