It was our first time in Corsica and we stayed at the San Francescu hotel for one week. The hotel is in family ownership and thus it was a very cosy and warm atmosphere. The rooms are fine with big beds and storage and most of them with a lovely view on the park. There is no A/C but at night it is really calm and the windows can be left open. The bath and shower is a bit small and the hairdryer needs replacing. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and we didn't have any issue on this during our whole stay.
If you care to ask the staff, they can give you (real) insider tips about the surrounding areas to discover Corsica (guaranteed no tourist advices). Everyone was always friendly and helpful and the chef working there did create some really good dishes at dinner worth trying. All in all a very relaxing and heart warming stay.

This hotel seems to be abandoned since a long time. Upon check-in a drunk woman took about 10 minutes to write us the invoice and eventually forgot to ask us any form of ID. Rooms were small as well as toilet: everywere you can feel a terrible mould and humidity stink. Breakfast (12 Euros each) was modest: two days old bread, "gas station" quality coffee...much better to show up in any bar in the area ang get fresh croissants for about 50% less. Swimming pool was nice...but not filled with water (something I could forgive in mid April but NOT in mid June). The surrounding is nice but...price is not worth (about 80 Euros per night without breakfast). More
