I stayed here for 6 nights in early February. I chose this place as I like its location - it's not central, but is quiet and has beautiful view of the canal. Moreover, their breakfast (free if booked directly) is great: baguettes and cereals aside, you get cheese, ham and yogurt! I had been here eight years ago and it...

This hotel is in a nice, quiet location located near the Metro. The hostel is clean and the facilities are nice and new. The bar is big and social (doubles as the breakfast area) I really enojyed my stay here. In the summer time you cna rent sall motor boats and take them out on the Canal!

This is probably the best hostel I've been at. The location is good, the staff is kind and fun. Commom areas are cool and fun, so is the bar. The dormitory is GREAT! Good bed with courtains, you can easily sleep at any time and not bother with outside light peaople walking around. Theres even a power socket inside your...

I stayed in the youth hostel here with my school during our trip to Paris. The beds are large enough to fit me comfortably (I am 6"5') and they are soft enough to provide more than adequate levels of comfort while sleeping. I stayed in a room with 6 other guys and we never felt cramped. It is well located...

Awesome hostel, great staff, great deals, great people! The location is a bit out of the center of the city but the hostel made up for it. The metro is close by so its not so much of an issue. Would recommend to anyone!

If you feel young, like to make friends et spend a loud evening, this is a place for you. If you want to spend a quite night to rest, please do not go. Average customer age is surely under 25, beer is the drink for everyone, but the place very friendly and personal competent.

There were definitely things I loved about this place, and things I did not like as much. The pros: * Super friendly and helpful staff, both in the hostel and the connecting restaurant/bar * Clean and great size bathrooms * Large, under bed lockers * Two outlets and a light by every bed The cons: * Location - the hostel...

Staying in La Villette

Neighbourhood Profile
La Villette
This futuristic landscape has come to define the northeast of Paris. The Saint-Denis canal is framed with luscious lawns and metallic buildings over a wide-open space. Home to Europe's largest science museum, this area rewards daytime and nighttime explorations; there are three concert spaces, plus cinemas and bars, and even open-air cinema in the summer. The surrounding homes are a sharp contrast to the futuristic space. Though on the outskirts of Paris, La Villette is worth the short Metro ride from the centre.
