Everything about this hotel is bad. 1. When we went to the room, it did not even have toilet papers. 2. The room was highly unclean. They did not even bother to clean the wardrobe and table. It was all super dusty. 3. The staff was extremely unfriendly. 4. You can hear every footstep on the stairs in your room....

Omg !! Hotel really bad. We had arrived there almost midnight and we felt very tried for the flight. When we make a check-in(24 hours reception desk), the staff very bad mood, not friendly and he don't speaking well English. We had booking for 4 nights but we can stay only 2 nights, that night we slept in a low...

Small typical old fashioned Paris hotel. Very basic. Tiny, oddly shaped rooms. Shabby and not very chic. One minute to nearest Metro station - very convenient. Troublesome wifi. I found the staff very helpful and polite. Area around the hotel quite dirty and dingy, and rather intimidating at night if you are of a nervous disposition. Clean bedding and towel....

I was with my wife and son to celebrate our wedding anniversary . The hotel staff in afternoon shift was friendly but not the one in the evening. However to start with: - triple room with two towels - no WiFi in room - broken floor -no bulbs in wall lamps -smelly and dirty bathroom - incredible noise from inside...

I stayed at this hostel for 4 nights with my partner. I was a bit worried considering some negative reviews however we had a pleasant stay. The hotel staff were friendly and remembered us every time we walked in. I had a friend come past to say hello while she waited for her room to be ready, and the staff...

Great location- nearby metro station, some attractions within walking distance, an old parisian building adds to the experience. Esp for this price. Rather clean, top room was a bit smelly (bathroom pipes) but it was enough to air the room and the smell was gone. Lack of an elevator was a challenge after a day of walking. 2 people out...

Lovely people in the reception, hotel looks dated, but for the price paid for one night, just to sleep for few hours, not bad, got room on the fourth floor, no lift so was a little bit exercise to walk round the stairs. Shower, small but handy to be in the room. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, can't call...

When my girlfriend and I read the many negative reviews about this hotel, we were afraid it would be terrible. Not so much! We were given room 30 (6th floor) so it was hard to go up the stairs. We had to share the toilet and shower with other rooms on our floor but it was not that bad. Staff...

First of all, the hotel has six floors and no elevator, so take that into account if you have mobility problems. It is located in a dangerous neighborhood (you could constantly hear police sirens). Rooms are not soundproofed. Our toilet was leaking from tank. Breakfast is simple: croissants and baguettes, jam and butter. On the bright side, it's close to...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
