Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 5 days and it was great. We were greeted by Rudy the luggage handler at the entrance, very nice guy ,was always a pleasure to have a chat with him. Beds were very comfortable. Good location. Heating didn't work but Emanuel quickly provided us with a portable heater and a bottle of champagne!...

Outstanding hotel in extremely convenient location. The hotel facilities, quality of room and the staff were all excellent. We had a room at the front of the hotel on the first floor - a delight with blackout blinds providing my best sleep in years ! The staff are a delight from hotel reception to the cocktail waiter. We will definitely...

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel used to be a bank, still has the teller desks and it is now furnished uniquely and is very attractive inside. The rooms are small but very clean and the shower was excellent! The metro is a short walk away, near to the Opera area and easy to get to all...

We ate in the restaurant on the first night with a 20% discount and free glass of cava. Food was excellent. lovely views over the roof tops of Paris and the sacre coeur. We arrived 8pm the reception foyer is a stunning former Banking hall with a large glass dome that flooded the area with natural light with an interesting circular bar and open plan restaurant. We had a lovely room on the top floor with a beautiful view over the rooftops of Paris with the Sacre Coeur on the hilltop. Our room...

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the service we experienced was exemplary. All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, from reception to the cleaners. To be honest, we really didn't expect this from a 5* hotel in Paris - we expected to be met by stuffy staff who would look down their noses at this...

We spent just 2 nights, unfortunately, but it was a perfect stay. The Hotel used to be a bank but there is no trace of that anymore. Chic hotel and originally decorated. We stayed on the 5th floor in a charming room with tipical Parisian windows. The bathroom was fantastic!! Now that's what I call a real bathtub!! It was...

For €250 a night for a tiny room, this is in line with overpriced Paris hotels. This is nowhere close to a 5 stars. The room was tiny, the personal care products match a 2 star standard, the corridors stink of mould, the checkout process is painful even if you have no extras. To avoid at all costs.

We stayed at Hotel Banke for 4 nights and couldn't have picked a better hotel. The lobby is stunning and our room was nice and clean. If you love small, boutique hotels in big cities then this is the place to stay. Situated close to a metro station but only a mile walk north of the Louvre and south of Sacre Coeur it is perfect to tour around from. Excellent customer service, beautiful rooms and very welcoming. We had an issue with the air conditioning not...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
