this was one of our best paris experiences...centrally located in montparmasse, the location cannot be beat for the price. the room was small, but we were on the highest floor of this boutique hotel and could glimpse the eiffel tower from the windows, great views! the room, albeit small, was very comfortable and the shower was exqiusite and modern. i... I stayed at Apostrophe during February.  The rooms are very small - but the attention to detail is great.  The bathroom, shower, products, linen - all really high quality.  It's easy to find, and close to some great places to eat & drink.

We had a great stay in room D. The staff was very helpful with directions and suggestions for places to eat. The night attendant was particularly nice and full of suggestions. Try le cottage for dinner during your stay - it's across the street. We had a wonderful dinner. The location is also excellent. It's close to the metro and... More

Really tiny rooms. Artistic but barely enough space to get around. Good point was the free wifi but for the price, charging for breakfast felt a little like overkill. Location was good, near metro and the RER station. But coming from Rome where we got really outstanding service, the lack of basics (at least to us) like free tea/coffee making... More

I have zero complaints with my stay. I'll also say that a review of any travel experience is always measured against expectations. My expectation (and what I was looking for in a hotel) was a clean, boutique hotel in a convenient area in the latin quarter of Paris. All expectations were met and exceeded. Overall, I loved my stay, enjoyed... More

A great location, walking distance to everything and close to the Metro. It's a funky, interesting hotel, each space depicting a peice of Paris history. Our room was tiny but cleverly designed. With a bit of discipline we were able to stow our gear and still walk around the bed (not over the top of it as with some Paris... More

Simply the best hotel visit I've ever had. The staff was extremely helpful, and all were very kind and thoughtful. The room was beautiful, and even a little larger than I expected. The location was great; steps away from the Luxembourg Gardens and Catacombs tour. I didn't even need to use the Metro once, as all the major attractions were... More

This is real boutique hotel, with a unique theme, small in size and with attentive service. Located in typical Parisian building, it is newly renovated, modernly designed, functional and well located for sight-seeing, dining and getting there and away. The hotel is less than 10 minutes’ walk from RER Port-Royal which is direct line from Charle-de-Gaulle airport. Vavin metro station... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
