I have been staying at this hotel since 2015 (back when it was a Radisson Bleu) and always feel like I am coming back to my home away from home whenever I visit. I love the location in the 16th near multiple metro stops in a fairly residential area of town near great food shops and a HUGE Casino grocery store.

This particular trip was short, so I did not spend a lot of time at the hotel. I arrived around 1pm and was told the room was not yet ready. Fortunately, it was expected to be ready within an hour (and an upgrade to a Deluxe Room!), and I was welcomed into the pool/spa area to rest, refresh, and relax while I waited. What a wonderful way to help overcome jetlag!

I always love seeing the Head Concierge, Kahina. It is because of her that I truly feel special and welcomed at this hotel. She goes out of her way to make sure that everything is perfect!

Superior and Deluxe rooms are on the small side, but at least with the Deluxe rooms you have a sizeable bathroom. The main reason I love staying at this hotel is the bed - it is one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. I love the choice of bedding and the pillows are better than the ones I have at home. Rooms are kept clean and housekeeping is great; my only "complaint" on this trip was they had forgot to refill toilet paper and was running dangerously low; this was quickly remediated. Rooms have a small fridge and Nespresso machines with off brand nespresso pods. Bottles of Evian were also replaced everyday.

Breakfast continues to be a wonderful affair. The mini viennosieries are so yummy, and they serve some really high quality yogurt. Delicious butter, jams, and honey help to round out the experience, and there is a now a small buffet that is part of the continental breakfast that includes meats and cheeses; this is a nice addition.

It is funny to read some of the negative reviews here because I know that sometimes the hotel is not always perfect and American standards are not always in line with what European hotels deliver, but for me this hotel really is truly special.

Our visit didn't get off to a good start. We arrived to find the lobby filled with luggage and people waiting to check in. The front desk clerk (Orlando, I think?) was condescending and rude to us and other guests. We began to worry about our choice in hotels at this point. Fortunately, he was an anomaly at the hotel.

The rest of the hotel staff was very congenial and courteous. From Tareek, opening the front door to Jacinto and Suzanne serving us breakfast each morning and drinks in the afternoon, the service was wonderful. The housekeeping staff was continually maintaining the rooms and common areas. We can't say enough about Kahina at the hotel. She was a wealth of information about Paris and even greeted us by name by the second day of our stay.

The hotel restaurant (sushi & Asian) was fantastic. The location of the hotel is perfect. It is a short walk away from several major tourist attractions and short Uber/taxi ride to several others. The area restaurants, bars, and shopping were very nice and while the hotel is close to tourist areas, it was surprisingly quiet at night. The neighborhood felt very safe.

All of that said, there are a few areas that visitors need to be aware of. For one, the wifi is relatively slow and, most importantly, NOT a secure network. This is unacceptable to a contemporary traveling business person even with a VPN. Our television only worked part of the time and the housekeeping carts were left in the narrow hallways day and night.

The hotel is in need of a modernization or makeover to make it more contemporary - given the price of lodging. Perhaps the most problematic for us was that the room climate control NEVER worked. Every night was excessively warm and we were forced to open the window each night to obtain anything close to a comfortable temp. Of course, open windows led to more noise and very cold room temps when the outside temp dropped.

In all, this is a good hotel, with a very good staff, in an excellent location. More attention to technology, climate control, and modernization would make it perfect. We highly recommend Le Metropolitan.

This hotel to me is home away from home, every time I plan a visit to Paris, this is my hotel.
The location is amazing, the Eiffel Tower Suites and the Deluxe Rooms with balcony and Eiffel Tower view are one of the most epic rooms you can find in Paris. The rooms are always clean

The location is walking distance to famous cafes as well as to the Eiffel Tower, also most of other attractions are close enough by taxi.

The Staff are super friendly and helpful, always ready to help and assist with everything.

I would like to thank Stephane, Osato from Front desk as well as Vanusa from the restaurant-Bar for their wonderful hospitality.

Overall this hotel was disappointing and not a five star experience. Check-in went great and the staff was friendly and accommodating. As a titanium elite, I was hoping my suite night upgrades would clear, but they did not and we were not upgraded

We were assigned to a room with a king bed, with the shower/bathtub in the bedroom itself (less than 2 feet from the bed). There was also no curtain, which limits the rooms usage to any non-romantic guests. The shower itself had very high walls (over 2 feet) with no bars/handles to get in and out. On our first night, I slipped getting out of the bath due to the lack of non-slippery services and severely injured my leg. I messaged the hotel, they did not understand and told us they could Not switch our room. Understandable. I messaged again, saying I could no longer use the shower due to my leg and whether there was another room available. There was no response from them at all, even to indicate they were sold out.

The room is standard size for Europe, but a shower with no curtain/walls IN the room itself is too far. While the breakfast was great, the lack of response or concern from the hotel was disappointing. While I’ll be seeking medical attention, I won’t be returning to this hotel and I wouldn’t advise any group of more than 1 person to.

Only positive point is the location, this hotel clearly needs a management reshuffle.
For the budget ( about 300 euros per night, you have much better options in the same location) ,
I spent there 2 nights, room was EXTRA small and cleanliness was not ideal.
Also first day i came back at 430 pm and the room was still not cleaned...
Service is really bad, spent an hour in the bar without anyone inquiring if i needed anything, hotel to be avoided.

So in the height of this COVID-19 drama, we have had to look at moving our wedding. That meant moving our honeymoon too. We booked this hotel for our last night in Paris through Hotels.com - which I will never use ever again!

Hotels.com refused to even consider changing the booking even though the hotel has a policy for refunds before 30 June. We reached out to the hotel for help- and Sarah was amazing! She managed to sort the booking out for us.

This hotel clearly values its clientele and honours it’s booking agreement. We are thinking about staying for even longer after this level of assistance, and will ONLY book direct with the hotel and NEVER with hotels.com again. We can’t wait to stay here, Sarah has helped relieve a huge part of the stress of moving a wedding for me, and she should be recognised for her amazing work!

Thank you Sarah!

I give this a hotel a three for the location but it is noisy at night so bring earplugs. The room is absolutely tiny and two of the three lamps do not work (no overhead lamps). The one in the corner even has no bulb. I have asked for assistance at the front desk twice in two days and now today I have the other bed side lamp working but not the main lamp in the corner. I have had to get ready to go out and go to bed the last two nights basically in the dark. I should not be this difficult. Also, the breakfast that is included in marginal. I’m surprised mariott includes this hotel.

It is almost illegal to call this hotel luxury. I am currently staying in Le Metropolitan and am astounded at how this hotel can be considered a 5 star hotel. The staff are very unknowledgeable and told us there wasn't a spa in the hotel when the website clearly states it. The room had multiple issues; an old smelly refrigerator, a leaking sink, and a broken phone that I couldn't even use. All were reported to the front desk. A night staff came to check on the leaking sink and never followed up to fix it. As a gold elite member I wasn't able to receive any perks and was not acknowledged for my loyalty. Each and every time we went to the front desk, they had no idea how to respond to a simple inquiry. We were clearly duped into staying at a 5 star hotel when this establishment feels nothing more than a 3 star hotel. The pictures are exaggerated and the rooms are so small that we couldn't even pass by the bed without bumping into each other. Not worth it especially after having to get a 20 minute cab ride every time we wanted to go to the main area.

Dear Mr, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience while staying with us. That’s right, we are a tiny Parisian 5 star boutique hotel with 48 rooms only (10 suites included). It's also right that our hotel has a great location, as it is next to the Trocadero (8 minutes walking), and to the Eiffel Tour. Please be assured we are more than happy to be able to give an upgrade to our most loyal guests, when it is possible. I have shared your feedback with the front office leadership and the technical team to ensure the necessary guidelines are in place and reviewed to prevent any confusion about explanations given about the spa facilities, and any technical issues from occurring in the future. Even after the your two other comments on other websites, I still hope you choose to stay with us again when your travels bring you back to the area. As you know, Marriott hotels priority is to provide great experience to their guests ! Sincerely, Marina

The Eiffel View Suite is exquisite. I cannot imagine a more perfectly Parisian view. Plus, the sitting area and bedroom area are separated by doors in case you’re traveling with someone and want a little extra privacy. We arrived during an unseasonably cold snap, but they’d already turned off the heat to the building, so they delivered a space heater that warmed up the room in minutes. Also, the room service breakfast was lovely and delivered quite quickly. Overall, a great experience. 10/10 would recommend.

I stayed in this hotel in the latter part of June and found it to be fantastic. Are the rooms small? Absolutely, the smallest I have ever seen. Once you get over that and realize that you are in Paris for hopefully, more than the hotel room, you can really start to enjoy yourself. I found the staff to be charming, professional and helpful. This is a small hotel and appeared to be filled with Marriott Elite members (of which I am one) who have booked a holiday using points and who expect their room to be ready when they land at CDG in the morning (check in at 3 pm), a full American breakfast with bacon and eggs and an upgrade (there are only 48 rooms in the hotel and the larger rooms are first allocated to guests who have actually paid for these rooms). I applaud the staff for their poise. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Also, we noted no issues with the air conditioning.

Just a pool, they have to let you in by swiping their card in the elevator (guests don’t have direct access, you have to call and let them know), and then there’s a steam room but wasn’t on when we went in June.
