Fabulous hotel, with very friendly helpful staff The rooms are not big but well equipped, modern and comfortable and more than adequate for a sightseeing holiday they were serviced daily with fresh towels, beds made and cleaned.
The breakfast was freshly cooked with lots of choice and the dining room was cleaned constantly by the attentive staff in charge of it.
Good WiFi and a handy fridge in the room.
Very close to several metro stations (under 10 mins) and a train station and tram stop.
Great Pâtisserie almost next door and several restaurants 2 mins walk which are far more reasonably priced than in city centre. Surrounding area appeared safe and quiet.

Our room with balcony was very well equipped and spacious. It's very clean. Very good bedding, spacious bathroom. No noise very well soundproofed.
Classic breakfast dining room overlooking the garden.
Pleasant staff, only downside the room was not cleaned on the third day (forgotten?), and there is no hook in the bathroom nor shelf to hang your clothes, you have to put them on the floor during the shower…small detail to be easily improved I think.

I booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. The price was good on a room only basis. Breakfast was expensive at €18 a head. There’s a lovely bakery about 5 minutes walk away so save your cash and get the steps in.

I chose the location due to the proximity to the RER station for a trip to Versailles. Otherwise I would not have chosen this hotel as it is over a mile away from the closest tourists attraction, the Arc de Triomphe.

The rooms are well equipped and spacious via Paris standards. One of the rooms was not set correctly upon check in and we had to continually ask for it to be sorted. One of the allocated rooms on arrival was not a premium room I booked and didn’t have a shower - this issue was quickly resolved but it shouldn’t have needed to be.
The rooms were fixed daily and bottled water and coffee pods replenished.
Robes, slippers and premium toiletries were provided. The bedding isn’t the best quality - a polycotton blend which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable.

If you’re in a room facing in to the courtyard you will be disturbed by the slightest noise down below if the window is left open. The air con, however, works well.

In summary, a very genetic and ‘modern’ hotel which met the need but nothing ‘wow’ or special.

What a desappointment!!
As soon as I arrived, at 10:30 p.m., someone jumped on me to pay my two tourist taxes. On the other hand, I have to collect my invoices the next day.
The dinner is debited from my credit card without my being informed, in short I must look like a bandit. …
The room is quite good even if there is no soap in the bathroom, you should collect the soap in the shower to wash your hands.
Finally at the time of departure, “to the question everything went well”, no one listens!!

In short, I won't come back.
Sincerely

As a 60th birthday present to myself, I arranged for all the family to spend my birthday weekend in Paris. I made three bookings: one for my wife and I (3 nights), one for my daughter (3 nights) and one for my son and his partner (2 nights).
I chose the bed and breakfast option, which, for some reason, did not work on my wife's and my reservation. Therefore, my children had a full breakfast while my wife and I had to be content with a coffee and croissant next door. The hotel offered the possibility of breakfast, but at €18 pp a day the cost was exorbitant, so we declined.
Given the logistical scope of the operation - all of us live in different countries - and the fact it was for my 60th birthday, I contacted the hotel in advance to ask for an early check in and a late checkout. I have been a member of the Accor loyalty programme for decades although I don't travel as much as I used to. Wishing to make the most of our time in Paris, and given the occasion, I didn't anticipate a problem in theis regard. This was their reply:
'De plus, nous essaieront tant que possible de vous mettre dans un étage supérieur avec vue sur rue pour profiter de nos chaleureux toits parisiens, et de procéder à un early check in ou d’un late check out, et ce sous réserve de nos disponibilités.'
Basically translated, the message in English says:
"In addition, we will try as much as possible to put you on an upper floor with a view of the street to take advantage of our warm Parisian roofs, and to proceed with an early check in or a late check out, subject to our availability." 'Subject to availability' being the key words here.
When we arrived at the hotel, the male receptionist did not offer us an early check in. I showed him his colleague's email. He simply shrugged his shoulders, saying that the room was not ready. We asked to stow our bags in the left luggage and went to find lunch.
On our return, the same receptionist gave is the keys to room 417, far below the lofty heights and the 'warm Parisian rooftops'. We had a view of a faux Mansart rooftop on the building opposite which was new and not particularly 'warm'.
Our son was given a bigger room than us (416); yet here I was paying for eight nights' accommodation plus seven breakfasts.
We were also denied a late checkout, which meant we went to the airport 5 hours before schedule. Recpetion could not even give me one unified invoice.
The way we were treated, ultimately, ruined my 60th birthday. Never again.

Placed in a nice, peaceful and convenient area with plenty of transport to the city center within less than 10 min walk and with a few good choices for breakfast (boulangeries). Hotel is modern and quiet, room was mid size and nice, shower warm and overall good.
Now the fun part: the yellow curtains don't really cover much so at 6 am it's daylight in your room.
It was two of us but we only got one set of toiletries in the bathroom.
When we arrived, left our luggage to attend an event and told them we'd come back to check in late. No problem. It was past 1 am when we arrived. The clerk was sleeping on 2 sofas on the right-hand side, all dark no lights on, clearly woke him up, he seemed confused. Requested our luggage, he opened the door for us and we had to walk in the storage room to get it, tried to charge us way more than we had booked and insisted we needed to book breakfast.
Also, we had requested a twin room and gave us a double, so we ended up on the quest of a room cause he didn't know for sure which on was which. Surreal.
Did not use breakfast or the parking lot. There's plenty of space outside to park, might be busy but I'm sure one can find a space sooner or later.

The stay was great as the room was very clean and a good size being in Paris. The room came with free water which was a very nice gesture and was very well kept. The location was convenient and a simple 15 minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe. However this is where the praises end. The staff at this hotel are mediocre at best. The house cleaning staff were great but the front desk staff were questionable. They seemed very displeased with helping us and rushing through the process. Never offered to help with bags. Also the front desk staff were all huddled together chit chatting like friends even in front of me in French like I didn’t understand or care. Terrible first impressions. One night I came to ask for some ice and I was told to talk to the bartender who then told me it’s reserved for paying guests only at the bar. What terrible service. Also another time I caught the front desk person sitting at the bar having a drink “unsure if it was alcoholic or not” and watching a football game on the TV even though he was on duty. The staff need retraining on respect and being professional. I understand they can’t accommodate every request but simple things like this at a 4 star hotel is a bit ridiculous not to mention the lack of professionalism.

The hotel is in a good location, you can walk to the arc de triomphe and subway station is a quick walk away too. It took around an hour and 5 mins to get to Disney.

When we checked in, we were told our room had been given an upgrade and we were on the 8th floor (room 806 i think?). The room was fine, it was clan and had Nuxe hand wash, hand cream and shower gel. The room had 2 windows which could be opened as wide as possible, which i thought was quite dangerous. It looked onto the other hotel windows and the hotel garden seating area.

The room was so warm! We turned down the temp on the thermostat in the bedroom and bathroom but the temp generally didn't change. I did not want to leave the windows open because, as you can see from the attached picture, our neighbors could practically walk in, due to the width the windows opened and how close their balcony was to our window.

We stayed for 3 nights from 29th Dec - 1st Jan. The first 2 days we were up pretty early to do site seeing and go to Disney, on the night of 31st into the 1st, we were out a bit later so were looking to have a long lie, especially because our flight was not until 10pm. However, this was impossible as there were not curtains or blackout blinds in the room. There was sheer blinds that covered the windows but nothing to keep out natural light. Like I said, this went unnoticed until the final morning as we were out early other days. We had friends staying in a room on the 4th floor who said they had curtains in theirs (we could also see this from our window).

The hotel was fine, it was in a good location and clean, however we were not impressed with out room, especially as they told us we were upgraded.

I'll start by saying what was good. Great breakfast with nice outdoor courtyard, room was clean (when they actually cleaned it). The room had a modern look and feel. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Outlets well located but bring adapters.

We stayed as part of a Trafalgar tour but added 2 days before the tour. It was also the hotel the tour ended for the last 2 nights. We were there for a total of 5 nights in 2 different rooms.

We lost the balcony room we paid for when desk clerk said he put us in a room we would not have to switch from. No price adjustment.

Room is about the size of am interior room on a cruise ship. Very Tiny!

Sink was clogged and shower hose defective in first room. Had to rubber band the shower head to the pipe to use it in that room.

Toilet is in a separate room from the sink and shower.

The tub/ shower combo has very high walls, perhaps as high as a large jetted tub (which this was not). No grab bars. My wife and I found it extremely hard to get in and out safety, especially since the half glass door did not prevent water from getting all over the floor. We are in our early 70s and normally have no problems getting in and out of a tub hotel tub shower.

In the second room on the back end of our stay, one of the shelves in the closet was missing one of the four pins that hold in in place making it unusable. Of course it was the middle one that would be used most. Don't understand how housekeeping did not see that. It was so obvious when you opened the closet door.

Also in the 2nd room, our room was never made up after the first night. They replaced the 2 mimi cookies in the room but no towel change, wasterpaper baskets never emptied, beds not made, nothing. We got back late and just put up with it. The hotel appears to be understaffed.

While some say this hotel is conveniently located to the attractions in Paris, this may be true if you are ok using their Metro in a foriegn country. We were not, and each trip into Paris cost 30 - 35 Euros.

Our tour had us staying in a few other Mecure hotels. While this was the worst, but some of the others had their issues as well, although nothing major. Makes me think that this is the way this hotel chain operates or perhaps Americans may expect more from a hotel.

Cordialement Olivier Quintin Directeur

After checking in, my wife and I decided to have a drink in the bar. My Bourban was 4 ml which barely covered the bottom of the glass. My wife ordered a rum and Coke and a water. Price was 33 Euros or $37 USD.

We spent the day at the Louvre getting back mid afternoon for a rest before our dinner cruise. The maid banged on the door at 2:30 pm apparently looking to service our room. We explained we were resting and didn’t want to vacate the room, but would like replacement towels and bath mat. The maid refused.

This hotel is apparently tour group central and not a relaxing pleasant experience. Save your money and apply it to a quality French hotel.
